00:00People don't see how I can have help, seeing how we're destroying the natural world and the cruelty that's going on.
00:07But I've got four main reasons for hope.
00:10First of all, it is the young.
00:12When young people know the problems and they are enabled to take action,
00:20if they're allowed to choose what they want to do to make the world a better place.
00:25And my second reason for hope, this extraordinary intellect we have,
00:31and people are beginning to think about their own environmental footprint and to make wise choices in what they buy.
00:39Where did it come from? Did it harm the environment? Was it cruel to animals?
00:44And then my final reason for hope is the indomitable spirit,
00:47the people who tackle what seems impossible and won't give up and very often succeed.
00:55And there are people who are sort of icons like Nelson Mandela.
01:01But there's also people living lives all around us, overcoming terrible social or physical disabilities
01:11and are shining inspirations to everyone.
