00:11DEA spokesperson Arnel De Mesa says the audit covers more than 4,700 projects from 2021 to 2025
00:18and will be completed by year-end.
00:21Nearly 3,000 projects have so far been verified as completed.
00:25Seven of the projects are in Davao Occidental and two are in Lanao del Sur.
00:29De Mesa adds a kilometer cost 12 million pesos before 2022
00:33and the cost increased to 15 million pesos from 2022 onwards.
00:38This makes three projects supposedly constructed before 2022
00:41and six other projects after worth an estimated 126 million pesos.
00:47Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. ordered an audit of farm-to-market roads
00:52following allegations of corruption in flood control projects.
