Emmerdale stars Natalie Ann Jamieson and Ash Palmisciano say the long hours filming the shocking limo crash stunt was worth it after the moment won the Best Showstopper prize at the Inside Soap Awards.

00:30Yay! We're absolutely thrilled. Everybody worked so hard on those episodes. So yeah, we're

00:52really, really happy because that's wild isn't it? It was, it was. It was long hours,

00:56it was cold, it was, it was amazing. But yeah, people worked so hard. So like you say, the

01:02hard work to pay off is really, really amazing.

01:04It was amazing. I mean, to be honest, we loved working on it. Obviously it was incredibly

01:16sad, but Nat absolutely smashed it and put so much time into it. Everybody did. All the

01:22cast in the girls' limo, all the cast in the boys' limo. These lot had the harder job,

01:26granted, but all of those late night shoots, and it was just before our Christmas break,

01:30wasn't it, as well? And everyone was like, you know, really tired from the year, but they

01:34were working like to the early hours of the morning in freezing cold water. And I think

01:38it looked amazing. And we all watched it together and we were just like, we were really pleased

01:42with it. So to win that, I think it's been the best.

01:44So you're icing on the cake, right?

01:46Yeah, icing on the cake.
