Central China's Zhengzhou scripts new playbook for short drama production

00:16Home to nearly 1,000 short drama enterprises that employ more than 30,000 people, the city
00:22has created a full industrial chain for the industry, from set construction and equipment
00:27leasing to talent sourcing.
00:29Production bases across the city are reporting unprecedented demand, as studios flock to
00:34capitalize on the industrial chain to drive down costs and slash production timelines.
00:40At this studio, a converted industrial park, sound stages are fully booked through late
00:45September, with an average of 8 to 12 crews shooting simultaneously each day.
