00:00In your opinion, does this 20-point plan, this U.S. framework, represent a step closer to ending the war in Gaza?
00:08I think it's more than a step. It's potentially a giant leap. It could spell the end of the war in Gaza.
00:14There are many moving parts. Things can change.
00:17I would say generally that as a work of statecraft, of diplomacy, it's kind of the masterstroke.
00:22How President Trump's team, this is Steve Witkoff, Jared Kirshner, and others, managed to get all these disparate states on board,
00:33states that don't agree with one another very much, certainly don't agree on Israel, Palestine at all.
00:39This is states on Turkey and Qatar on one side, Saudi Arabia, UAE, on the other, Jordan.
00:45Get them all together to agree to these 20 points and then get Israel to agree, get an Italian to agree.
00:52That has got to go down in the history books. It's one of the great masterstrokes of diplomacy.
