00:00A total of 69 deaths have been recorded so far after a magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck the province of Cebu on Tuesday night, September 30th.
00:13Office of Civil Defense Assistant Secretary for Administration Bernardo Rafaelito Alejandro IV said 30 fatalities were recorded in Bogo City, 22 in San Remigio, 10 in Medellin, 5 in Tabogon, and 1 each in Sugod and Tabuelan.
00:31As of now, there are 147 injured individuals in Bogo, Tabuelan, Catmon, Daan Bantayan, and San Francisco in Cebu.
00:42Alejandro said that the numbers are still very fluid, as they are still in the critical first 24 hours following the disaster.
00:50The earthquake occurred at 9.59pm, with its epicenter traced 17 kilometers northeast of Bogo City, with a depth of focus of 10 kilometers, and was tectonic in origin.
