00:17Just four months after announcing he was cancer-free following chemotherapy for an esophageal tumor,
00:23Collar has revealed that the cancer has unfortunately returned.
00:27Diagnosed in June 2024 with adenocarcinoma of the esophagus,
00:32Collar's initial diagnosis led Sick of It All to pause all band projects.
00:37After months of treatment, he celebrated a hopeful milestone in May 2025,
00:42when he announced the cancer was gone.
00:44However, in a video message posted on Tuesday, September 30th,
00:48Collar opened up about his recent struggles and the cancer's return.

00:54I don't know if you can tell it's me with my new skeletal look that I have going on.
00:59Here's an update for you. It's not one I want to make.
01:02But unfortunately, the cancer has come back, and he's brought some friends with him,
01:06he revealed to his followers.
01:07I was having a really hard time with my recovery.
01:10I was having a tough time gaining weight and keeping food down,
01:13so I had some scans done, and sure enough, he's back.
01:16But we're going to take it day by day and see what happens.
