00:00I wouldn't cross me if I was you, better think twice about what you're gonna do.
00:08I wouldn't cross me if I was you, if I was you I wouldn't cross me.
00:14When I left WWE, I did so because I had to.
00:31It was a necessity.
00:35If I was going to become the person I wanted to be, the wrestler I wanted to be, the champion I had dreamed of being.
00:42I had to go out and do it on my own terms.
00:46And so I did.
00:49And all credit to you, Cody.
00:52You saw sickness eating you from within, and you did what needed to be done to cut it out.
00:59And that is to be commended.
01:01But in your absence, WWE moved right along, and I was at the forefront.
01:08I was its architect, its messiah, its champion.
01:13A visionary, a revolutionary.
01:16I put this company on my back and carried it into a golden age.
01:21And what was my reward?
01:24For all of my sacrifice, I was literally begging to be given a match on WrestleMania.
01:31I can understand that resentment, Seth.
01:34That bitterness.
01:36I remember once feeling that way myself.
01:38But that night in Dallas for me, that night was a revelation.
01:43I got to come home and in front of 65,000 screaming fans step into the ring with a generational talent.
01:52I got to immediately put my hand to the flame and see if I could take the heat.
02:01If I could measure up with the best WWE and the world had to offer.
02:07I was baptized by that fire, and I walked away knowing I could now write my story.
02:19I'm happy I was able to provide you with inspiration with which to write your story, Cody.
02:26But the fact is, our story wasn't over.
02:29It wasn't over at WrestleMania when you had the element of surprise on your side.
02:34It wasn't over at Backlash either when you held my tights to steal a victory.
02:39Now, our story needed to go to hell and back.
02:46Hell in a cell.
02:51It's the most painful night of my career.
02:56Looking back at it, probably not the wisest decision I've ever made.
03:01There are no words to describe what we did to each other, the limits that were pushed in the lines that were crossed.
03:11And yet, somehow, amidst all that, I somehow found respect.
03:20Respect for the singular competitor that you are.
03:23Someone who forces you to raise your game to levels you didn't know you had within you.
03:28Respect for your resilience in the face of immeasurable pain.
03:34Your refusal to just stay down.
03:38That will forever be a defining victory of my career.
03:43And you will forever be a defining rival of mine.
03:51Which is why what happened next is so tragic.
03:57Better Blah Bowman.
03:58What happened next time?
04:00I was worried about it.
04:01One moment to go to hell.
04:02That will forever be a definite victory.
04:03Just remember.
04:04I was afraid of all that.
04:06I was worried about it.
04:07You will never see a lângere vision, no one for me.
04:09It is okay.
04:11You will never see that happiness.
04:14You will never see you.
04:15You will never see you.
04:17You are also worried about it.
04:18You will never see you.
04:19You will never see you.
04:20You will never see you.
04:21You will never see you.
