00:00He does as me, yes I know, for the Bible time we say, you don't want to look at me, yes He does as me, yes He does as me.
00:23When is your bedtime? Hi, honey. I'll see you in the morning, honey, okay? I'll see you when you wake up, alright? I love you.
00:45Before he was a leader to millions, he was mine and theirs.
00:52Hi!
00:59I have to say this without getting emotional, but I'm very proud of my husband and I know many of you are too.
01:05Well, I've never met anyone quite like her. I remember I called Tyler and I said he's going to have to find Talon somewhere else.
01:14And Tyler was trying to coach me down because he said that she was way out of my league and he's still right, by the way.
01:21I mean, my wife is the best person ever and she's a patriot and she's a believer. We don't want to have to be accountable to God when this life passes.
01:28And he asks, why did you not trust in me and not fight evil?
01:33For young people out there, if you want to find meaning, find something worth taking responsibility for.
01:39Yeah. It's been a fun journey.
01:41It's just getting started.
01:42Yeah. I'm grateful for you.
01:44Thanks for joining the Charlie Kirk show.
01:46You're welcome. We should do this more often.
01:48He was 18, no money, no map, only a call from God.
02:02My political journey was in the midst of the Obama craze in Chicago.
02:08As someone who is generally conservative, I realized this generation of millennials is going to be the most progressive generation in history if we don't do something about this.
02:16We're active in about 15 campuses and we're growing very, very quickly.
02:20And keep in mind, this is not just a flash in the pan movement.
02:23We're going to become an institution to give them the power and the confidence to stand up and let their voice be heard.
02:28I was 18, no idea what I was doing, no connections, no money, unlimited energy, enthusiasm.
02:35And I actually thought this was possible, which was kind of crazy to think about it.
02:40Bill was one of the first people to believe in us at Turning Point USA and believe in me.
02:44After he heard me speak, he said, you can't go to college.
02:46I said, who are you exactly? He said, whatever you're doing, it's going to be bigger.
02:50He said, you're going to start a youth organization that's going to catch the whole world on fire.
02:54Only in America can a young man with a dream change the world.
03:03So starting in that garage in Lamont, Illinois, that Bill had for us at 217 and a half Illinois Street,
03:09and growing from that forward was a battle.
03:12So the first year, it raised $20,000, which at the time was an unbelievable amount of money, right?
03:18We didn't have an office. We didn't have a staff.
03:20It was just me just traveling the country doing this pure grit, pure energy.
03:23And I was driven by core ideas and core principles that we should be thankful, not angry, to live in this country.
03:29Would you agree? We should be thankful.
03:30We should be kissing the ground and saying we are the luckiest human beings ever to exist,
03:34that we are able to live in this country.
03:36At this time, America is the greatest country ever to exist, period, bar none.
03:41It's the greatest country ever to exist, right?
03:43He loved debate because he loved the truth and the people on the other side of the table because they all were made in God's image.
03:58So I go to college campuses and there's a lot of error.
04:01We're all sinners. We are all living error.
04:03We as Christians are called to go into the public arena to correct error with truth.
04:09I'm far more interested in what God wants of me than what I want from God.
04:14I have the greatest job in the world.
04:16I couldn't be happier every day.
04:18I feel as if what I'm saying, what I'm doing is making a difference.
04:21To be perfectly honest, I love the debate.
04:23I love the exploration of ideas.
04:25I think dialogue is a gift given to us by God.
04:28Prove me wrong.
04:29I have no notes.
04:30I have no AI.
04:31I have nothing.
04:32Tell me why you're correct.
04:34For three hours, I will sit there and everyone will watch.
04:37It's a gladiatorial match for the best ideas of the West.
04:41And their needs changed him and he changed them.
04:46You see you're being called upon to be a leader, let's say, that's not merely political.
04:50Yes.
04:51That's my understanding of it.
04:52Correct.
04:53It's an enormous responsibility.
04:55Enormous.
04:56I also need to balance, as Christ would say, being as much truth, which of course I'm inclined towards, as love.
05:02What is God's plan when I go on a college campus?
05:04I just believe I will only tell truth, I will not compromise, and I'll love on the lost.
05:09He was no stranger to threats, to being hated, to being doubted.
05:14But he went out anyway.
05:16For America.
05:17For you.
05:18Ernie Point will live longer than me.
05:21That's my mission.
05:23He carried his love for the nation in his hand.
05:26And in the other, he carried us.
05:29You have worked so hard.
05:31And I know a lot of you have seen, obviously, his videos on TikTok and all the stuff he does on campus.
05:37But no one gets to see him from my angle, except for myself and our children.
05:43And the sacrifices that he made this year, he's amazing.
05:49I'm very blessed.
05:50And I would not have been able to do any of it without Erica.
05:54When it comes to your child, you are tasked to protect them both physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
06:01Once you have kids, there is this primal thing that comes into you, where if you think you have worked hard before,
06:06when you have to go feed a child and provide for a family, you are willing to go to the ends of the earth and push yourself in ways that you never thought possible.
06:14And that is your initial and most important task as a follower.
06:18Every single person in this building, we owe something to Charlie.
06:23He was a joyful warrior for our country.
06:25He loved America.
06:27He devoted himself tirelessly to making our country a better place.
06:31He was a critical part of getting Donald Trump elected as president, getting me elected as vice president.
06:37And so much of our success over the last seven months is due to his efforts, his staffing, his support, and his friendship.
06:45The media said that Turning Point could never run a ground game.
06:49They weren't experienced.
06:50They didn't know Charlie, right?
06:52You need tremendous talent to do what he's done.
06:55Building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
07:00And I want to thank you really, Charlie. Incredible.
07:02I want you to remember that we did not earn this.
07:07This is God's mercy on our country.
07:10What he built will endure.
07:19Taking the deep, but sometimes the difficult road is the way that you should configure your life.
07:25Getting married and having children is a difficult, but deep decision that I hope every single one of you make at some point in your life.
07:34Because for every single one of you, there are a couple thousand students that wish they could speak out like you do.
07:40And courage is a choice.
07:42It takes no skill to be courageous.
07:46You might come up to the microphone and say, Charlie, I don't know my talent.
07:49I don't know my skill.
07:50The cool thing about being courageous is you just have to say, I choose to be courageous.
07:55What can I do to save the country?
07:57You answer that question every single day.
07:59Because you are doing the work to save this beautiful republic.
08:04You are doing something that is bigger than you.
08:07He loved this country.
08:10He fought for this country.
08:12Now we all live to honor his fight.
08:15What young people especially are screaming at is they say, give me a structure that I can live my life by.
08:24And especially with young men, more challenging of them.
08:27More saying, you know what?
08:28Honestly, I'm not going to talk down to you.
08:30Stop being a boy and become a man.
08:32You want to learn what that means?
08:33Come to church and I'll tell you what it means to become a man.
08:36Because we have the greatest story ever told.
08:38If everything completely goes away, how do you want to be remembered?
08:43I want to be remembered for courage, for my faith.
08:47That would be the most important thing.
08:49The most important thing is my faith in my life.
08:51And I'll do that.
09:04Freedom on three.
09:06One, two, three, freedom!
09:08Woo!
09:12Wow, look at that.
09:13Beautiful.
09:17Look at that.
09:21All right, three, two, one, smile.
09:25Awesome, guys.
09:29Utah Valley, how are we doing?
09:34Charlie Kirk!
09:36Charlie Kirk!
09:37Charlie Kirk!
09:38Charlie Kirk!
09:39Charlie Kirk!
09:40Charlie Kirk!

09:43USA!
09:44USA!
09:45USA!
09:46USA!
09:47USA!

10:13USA!
10:15USA!
10:19USA!
10:19USA!
10:20That's a lot of people, Utah, I'll tell you what.
10:50He ran the race well.
11:06I love you, Charlie.
11:09On behalf of our family and everyone you touched with your love, thank you.
11:50Please give a warm welcome to Mrs. Erica Kirk.
13:56Hello.
13:57God bless all of you for coming here from all over the world to honor and celebrate my Charlie.
14:10Just a few miles from here, two years ago at AmericaFest 2023.
14:28Charlie delivered a speech on stage for our TPUSA faith event.
14:38Charlie loves speaking off the cuff.
14:40He was very good at that.
14:42Without a script.
14:44So I personally didn't know what he was going to say.
14:49And what he chose to speak about that day was his submission to the will of God.
14:58He quoted one of his favorite Bible verses Isaiah chapter 6 verse 8.
15:05Here I am Lord.
15:08Send me.
15:13After Charlie finished I met him backstage.
15:16And I spoke to him and I'll never forget this.
15:19I said, Charlie baby, please talk to me next time before you say that statement.
15:28Because when you say something like that, there is so much power in that verse.
15:35When you say, here I am Lord, use me.
15:43God will take you up on that.
15:46And he did with Charlie.
15:5011 days ago, God accepted that total surrender from my husband.
16:09And then called him to his side.
16:13More than anything Charlie wanted to do, not his will, but God's will.
16:19And over these past 11 days, through all the pain, never before have I found as much comfort.
16:30As I now do in the words of our Lord's prayer, thy will be done.
16:40God's love was revealed to me on the very day my husband was murdered.
16:55On the afternoon of September 10th, I arrived at a Utah hospital to do the unthinkable.
17:04To look directly at my husband's murdered body.
17:10I saw the wound that ended his life.
17:16I felt everything you would expect to feel.
17:21I felt shock.
17:23I felt horror.
17:24And a level of heartache that I didn't even know existed.
17:36But there was something else too.
17:39Even in death, I could see the man that I love.
17:48I saw the one single gray hair on the side of his head, which I never told him about.
17:57Now he knows.
17:59Sorry, baby.
18:00I'm telling you now.
18:01But never told him.
18:03Didn't want to.
18:06I also saw this.
18:09I also saw on his lips the faintest smile.
18:17And that told me something important.
18:22It revealed to me a great mercy from God in this tragedy.
18:28When I saw that, it told me that Charlie didn't suffer.
18:35Even the doctor told me.
18:37It was something so instant that even if Charlie had been shot in the operating room itself,
18:46nothing could have been done.
18:49There was no pain.
18:51There was no fear.
18:53No agony.
18:54One moment Charlie was doing what he loved.
18:58Arguing and debating on campus.
19:02Fighting for the gospel.
19:05And truth.
19:08In front of a big crowd.
19:10And then he blinked.
19:13He blinked.
19:16And saw his savior in paradise.
19:19And all the heavenly mysteries were revealed to him.
19:37God's love continued to be revealed to me in the days that followed.
19:47The next day on the tarmac in Air Force Two.
19:54I confronted Usha Vance.
19:57Precious woman.
20:00I held her hand and I told her honestly I do not know how I am going to get through this.
20:10She told me something.
20:13She said, you know when you are on an airplane with your kids.
20:20And it is the last 15 minutes of the flight.
20:23And things are crazy.
20:25Kids are not cooperating.
20:26Tories are flying everywhere and everyone is screaming.
20:29And you think to yourself, I cannot wait for this flight to land.
20:34And it is 15 minutes before you land.
20:39And she told me, you will get through these 15 minutes.
20:45And the next 15 minutes after that.
20:49Usha, I don't think you realized it then.
20:53But those words were exactly what I needed to hear.
20:57But most of all, God's mercy and God's love have been revealed to me these past 10 days.
21:06After Charlie's assassination, we didn't see violence.
21:11We didn't see rioting.
21:16We didn't see revolution.
21:30Instead, we saw what my husband always prayed he would see in this country.
21:35We saw revival.
21:37This past week, we saw people open a Bible for the first time in a decade.
21:56We saw people pray for the first time since they were children.
22:00We saw people go to a church service for the first time in their entire lives.
22:06Charlie liked to journal.
22:20And I say this because he did it to remember important moments and sayings that affected him.
22:27And one of the things he wrote in his journal was this.
22:35Every time you make a decision, it puts a mark on your soul.
22:44To those of you out there who just made that decision and took the first step toward a spiritual life, I say thank you and welcome.
23:01One day I hope you look back and realize it was the most important decision of your life.
23:13Because it is.
23:16All of you.
23:17All of you.
23:18All of you.
23:19All of you who are already believers, it is your job to shepherd these people.
23:25Do not take that lightly.
23:29Water the seed of their faith.
23:34Protect it and help it grow.
23:39Every day as Charlie rode into the office, he would go through his contact list.
23:46And I know there's many of you who were impacted by this.
23:50He would go through his contact list and send Bible verses for the day.
23:54He knew that faith was a habit.
23:58The more you live it, the more it grows.
24:03But know this too.
24:07The seed has only just been planted.
24:11The enemy will tempt you the most in a time like this one.
24:18God will always be there for you, but you must choose to mark your soul again and again in
24:26the direction of Christ.
24:37Pray again.
24:39Read the Bible again.
24:41Go to church next Sunday.
24:44And the Sunday after that.
24:46And break free from the temptations and shackles of this world.
25:00Being a follower of Christ is not easy.
25:03It's not supposed to be.
25:07Jesus said, if anyone would come after me, let him deny himself.
25:12Take up his cross and follow me.
25:16He said he would be persecuted.
25:18He said we would be persecuted.
25:20And Charlie knew that and happily carried his cross all the way to the end.
25:28And I want all of you to know, while Charlie died far too early, he was also ready to die.
25:39There was nothing, nothing he was putting off.
25:43There was nothing that was too hard or too painful or nothing that he just felt like he didn't want to do it.
25:51He left this world without regrets.
25:54He did 100% of what he could every day.
25:59But I want you to know something.
26:02Charlie died with incomplete work, but not with unfinished business.
26:12But I will miss him.
26:29I will miss him so much because our marriage and our family were beautiful.
26:34The greatest cause in Charlie's life was trying to revive the American family.
26:49When he spoke to young people, he was always eager to tell them about God's vision for marriage.
26:56And how, if they could just dare to live it out, it would enrich every part of their life in the same way that it enriched ours.
27:08And someone once asked me how Charlie and I, how we kept our marriage so strong when he was busy traveling.
27:18And our little secret, it was love notes.
27:30Every Saturday, Charlie wrote one for me and he never missed a Saturday.
27:38And in every single one of them, he'd tell me what his highlight was for the week,
27:44how grateful he was for me and our babies.
27:49And always at the end, he would always end it with asking the most beautiful question.
27:59He'd always end it by asking, please let me know how I can better serve you as a husband.
28:07Charlie perfectly understood God's role for a Christian husband.
28:13A man who leads so that they can serve.
28:20To all the men watching around the world, accept Charlie's challenge and embrace true manhood.
28:42Be strong and courageous for your families.
28:49Love your wives and lead them.
28:55Love your children and protect them.
28:59Be the spiritual head of your home.
29:05Love your home.
29:06Love your home.
29:07But please be a leader worth following.
29:12Your wife.
29:13Your wife is not your servant.
29:26Your wife is not your employee.
29:30Your wife is not your slave.
29:33She is your helper.
29:37You are not rivals.
29:39You are one flesh working together for the glory of God.
29:44I was Charlie's confidant.
29:58I was his vault.
30:03His closest and most trusted advisor.
30:06His best friend.
30:08I poured into him and loved him so deeply.
30:13Empowered him.
30:15Because his love for me drove me to be a better wife.
30:20Every day he honored me and I prayed that I could be the wife that God needed me to be for my husband.
30:29Women, I have a challenge for you too.
30:33Be virtuous.
30:36Our strength is found in God's design for our role.
30:41We are the guardians.
30:44We are the encouragers.
30:47We are the preservers.
30:50Guard your heart.
30:53Everything you do flows from it.
30:57And if you're a mother, please recognize that is the single most important ministry you have.
31:16In our home, because Charlie traveled a lot, we tried to travel with him where we could.
31:24But I made sure that when Charlie returned from work, it was his sacred landing place.
31:31Away from the worries of the world.
31:38I didn't make him feel guilty for being away too long or too much.
31:45Or getting home too late.
31:48I always told him, home is here for you.
31:51And it will be ready for you.
31:53And I made it into this place where he wanted to be as soon as possible when he was on the road.
32:04There was no keeping score between us.
32:09We were a team.
32:12Working together for the same mission.
32:16I never wanted to be the one standing between Charlie and the task that God prepared for him.
32:25Had set for him.
32:27And I knew Charlie would always do his best to help me with the same.
32:34My marriage with Charlie was the best thing that ever happened to me.
32:37And I know it was the best thing that ever happened to him as well.
32:42He wanted everyone to experience that joy.
32:45And that's what's so beautiful about God's design for marriage is that everyone can.
32:56And I could talk endlessly about it.
32:57In the years to come I will.
33:00But Charlie's mission above all was aimed directly at those who aren't married.
33:09He named his organization well.
33:11He knew things were not right with America and especially with young people.
33:17And they needed a new direction.
33:22Charlie passionately wanted to reach and save the lost boys of the West.
33:29The young men who feel like they have no direction, no purpose, no faith and no reason to live.
33:38The men wasting their lives on distractions and the men consumed with resentment, anger and hate.
33:46Charlie wanted to help them.
33:50He wanted them to have a home with Turning Point USA.
33:54And when he went onto campus, he was looking to show them a better path.
34:00And a better life that was right there for the taking.
34:05He wanted to show them that.
34:12My husband Charlie, he wanted to save young men just like the one who took his life.
34:28That young man, that young man, on the cross our Savior said, Father forgive them.
34:57For they not know what they do.
35:02That man, that young man, I forgive him.
35:13Jesus knew art at?
35:15iar
35:18Ms.
35:19How is he doing?
35:21Whoγͺγ‚‹ a thing?
35:22To olsun?
35:23How is he doing?
35:24He did take your life.
35:25At this point, he was working on track.
35:33I forgive him because it was what Christ did.
36:03It is what Charlie would do.
36:08The answer to hate is not hate.
36:12The answer we know from the gospel is love and always love.
36:18Love for our enemies and love for those who persecute us.
36:26The world needs Turning Point USA.
36:30It needs a group that will point young people away from the path of misery and sin.
36:38It needs something that will lead people away from hell in this world and in the next.
36:44It needs young people pointed in the direction of truth and beauty.
36:51And so I promise you today every part of our work will become greater.
36:56I am tremendously honored to be the new CEO of Turning Point USA.
37:07I do not take that lightly.
37:24Charlie and I were united in purpose.
37:26His passion was my passion.
37:29And now his mission is my mission.
37:32Everything that Turning Point USA built through Charlie's vision and hard work, we will make
37:38ten times greater through the power of his memory.
37:43Chapters will grow.
37:46Thousands of new ones will be created.
37:49USA faith will add thousands of new pastors and congregations.
38:03And yes, campus events will continue.
38:06And we will continue to hold debates and dialogue.
38:11The first amendment of our Constitution is the most human amendment.
38:25We are naturally talking beings.
38:29Naturally believing beings.
38:32And the first amendment protects our right to do both.
38:37No assassin will ever stop us from standing up to defend those rights, ever.
38:51Because when you stop the conversation, when you stop the dialogue, this is what happens.
39:04When we lose the ability and the willingness to communicate, we get violence.
39:15And as I stand here now, and I look at this beautiful photo of my husband in front of me, hanging
39:24in the stadium.
