00:00Because it reminds me of you.
00:02He was a brave guy, but I'm going to be announcing an award next week that's going to be quite something.
00:07And it's an honor of your courage, pure and simple, because you showed great courage.
00:11You know, we won this Hispanic way.
00:13We did so well with Hispanics.
00:14There's never been anything like it on the Republican side.
00:17There's never been anything even close.
00:19We won Miami.
00:20We won so many different places.
00:21And the entire borderline with Mexico and Texas we won.
00:25I got a call from the governor.
00:26Do you know, sir, you won every single area on the border.
00:30Of Texas, all Hispanic, 88%, 92%, all these towns.
00:35And he said, you won every one.
00:36That's the first time that's happened since Reconstruction.
00:39I said, define Reconstruction.
00:41Are you talking about the Civil War?
00:42He said, yes, it was a little different.
00:43I've never, that's a term that's a little different.
00:45I wanted accuracy.
00:46So the Civil War, first time.
00:48And we won.
00:49But it's because of Bob and people like Bob.
00:51And we love you, Bob.
00:53And you were great.
00:53And thank you very much.
00:54And Ben loves you, too.
00:56I know that.
00:57We're going to have a big award for you.
01:00But as you know, we're here this evening at George Washington's beautiful Mount Vernon.
01:04As they've just returned from the magnificent United Kingdom with King Charles and Camilla
01:11and the whole group.
01:12What a group.
01:13They're great people.
01:14They're great people.
01:15And they really laid it out.
01:16They said there's never been.
01:17And don't forget, they're really honoring the country.
01:19There has never been anything.
01:20And they did it for me a number of years ago.
01:23It's the first time they've done it twice for a president.
01:25That's because it wasn't consecutive.
01:27Now, we actually know it was consecutive, okay?
01:29If we want to be accurate about it.
01:33We want to be accurate.
01:34I'll be called, well, I'll be called a three-termer.
01:40But the only problem is, I want to be three terms, but I don't want the results of the
01:44second term, okay?
01:45I don't want anything to do with people pouring into our country totally unchecked and a big
01:50problem.
01:51But we're getting them out.
01:52We have no choice.
01:52As a country, we have no choice.
01:54We're doing better than we've ever done as a country, I believe.
01:56But a lot's changed since the days of President Washington and King George III.
02:01But I think that the father of our country would be very pleased and proud to see America
02:06strong and respected again.
02:07We're very respected again.
02:09And I saw that because, you know, I would say the United Kingdom, there's nobody that
02:14can do the pomp and ceremony like them.
02:16Don't we agree?
02:17Although tonight's a very beautiful evening.
02:18But I got that beat on.
02:19It's a nice tent.
02:21It's a nice tent.
02:21I like that building that's 1,400 years old slightly better.
02:28Did you see that, the table?
02:29It was like 100 yards, like a length of a football field in a ballroom that was like this.
02:34It was the most, they opened the doors.
02:36I said, I've never seen anything like this.
02:38But this is a close second.
02:45I didn't see any poles holding the ceiling up yet.
02:48I said, no, this is beautiful.
02:50It's beautiful because of the people.
02:53And we had, by the way, everybody was there.
02:54Every big business leader, that was really, that was an amazing event.
02:58But it was respect for the country.
03:00It's the biggest event they've ever done of its kind.
03:02There's never been anything even close.
03:04It was, thank you.
03:05I like that guy.
03:06I don't know who the hell he is.
03:09I know he's all men.
03:10Who is that?
03:10Stand up.
03:11Look at this guy.
03:12I don't know who the hell he is.
03:13I like him.
03:15I like that voice.
03:17I like that voice.
03:18Thank you very much.
03:19But there could be no more appropriate place to hosting the gathering because American
03:24Quarterstone Institute exists to defend and promote the fundamental values and principles
03:29of the American founding.
03:31Those are the ideals that our movement and our administration are defending each and every
03:35day.
03:36And now our country is thriving like never before.
03:39We are actually, we're thriving.
03:40You know, the king of Saudi Arabia said to me when I was over there, you know, sir, one
03:44year ago, you were a dead country.
03:46Actually, that's such a tough one.
03:48It's tough.
03:49But it's true.
03:49We're a dead country.
03:51We were going to be a non-country.
03:52And now we've got the hottest country anywhere in the world.
03:57There's no country as hot as we are.
04:03Under all four years of Biden, only $1 trillion of new investment came into the United States.
04:08So that's four years, $1 trillion.
04:10It's a little less than that.
04:11Under eight months of Trump, we've already secured commitments of $17 trillion coming in.
04:22And if you take the good years that we've had, it's just a small fraction.
