00:00We called for the divorce? I did. So out of the divorce, I got $600,000. But I have so much debt
00:07here. When did you get the $600,000? Two years ago. Okay, where the is it? It's gone. Completely
00:13gone. Into where? Well, I bought a house that was $330,000. Paid in full. So it goes half the cash.
00:21Yes. But then I bought it sight unseen. And so when we entered the home. Oh no. Yeah, I saw the
00:29outside because I drove by it. Oh good, you drove by it. Yeah. When we entered the home
00:33though, it was in shambles. So we had to renovate it. But the renovation was like $100,000.
00:44There's still $150,000 to $200,000 left. Where did it go? Spending? You don't know where that
00:51other $150,000 to $200,000 went, do you? So in my ex-relationship, I was spending $5,000
00:58a month on like bull spending. And like he was kind of just taking care of everything.
01:03How long were you guys married? Married for five, but together for 10 years. So I met him
01:09when I was 19. And he was twice my age. So I think 40. Yes. Yeah. He definitely like used
01:21money to control me. So in what ways? So, you know, I was spending my $5,000 a month and
01:26he was just paying off my credit card and I didn't have to worry about anything. Um, and
01:31then, you know, he would get mad at me and like throw me out of the house and say, you
01:35know, you can't, you can't come back here. And so then I would sleep in my car or wait,
01:40he thought that I was cheating on him. Um, which were you? No, I wasn't. So from the age
01:45of 19 through the age of 28, 27, when I officially got divorced, like I did not learn anything about
01:56money. No, you were just given money to spend essentially. Yeah. I just had a credit card
02:01and I could spend whatever I wanted for so long. I thought that like, I couldn't leave
02:06because if I leave, then I have nothing kind of mentality. Um, but then after a scary situation,
02:13I just packed up my car and drove up to North Carolina. And then this is where I met my now
02:19husband, um, who's much better than my ex.
