00:00Hey beautiful people! So today I am shooting a video to share something really amazing with you guys.
00:05However, I just want to take a moment to talk about something that has really upset me because, you know,
00:11typically whenever we launch products, we would like to share them with you guys in the way that is going to be the most special for you guys.
00:18To fall in love with something, to experience it, to be completely immersed in something.
00:23And, you know, we started working on a concealer. We started working on it many, many, many years ago.
00:28And unfortunately, with so many of our products, this product was leaked.
00:32And it was leaked by somebody on Instagram.
00:34And it really obsessed me because there was so much effort, so much time put into this project.
00:40And essentially, I mean, somebody just leaked it to get clicks, just for a clickbait moment to get a lot of attention.
00:45But they don't realize everything that goes into the background of creating a product and the team, the energy, the time that goes into it.
00:53And it's really disappointing. It's unfortunate. It's not the first time that they've done this either.
00:58I'm not going to post who posted it because I don't want to give them the attention that they're trying to get for it.
01:03So please also do not tag them in this post. Do not tag the picture.
01:06Please do not do that because, honestly, like this is what they want.
01:09They want that moment of attention.
01:11When these leaks happen and we as a team, me as a founder, put so much energy and love into it,
01:16All of a sudden, I feel so deflated, so demotivated, so sad that you guys are seeing it in a way that wasn't, you know, part of our vision.
01:25You work so hard. You work for years on something.
01:27And all of a sudden, the opportunity to present it to you guys for the world to see is just taken away from us.
01:32And that really sucks.
01:33I'm going to share a big part of this product now with you.
01:36I'm going to share the product.
01:36I'm going to share the formulation.
01:38The campaign, which we actually shot last year.
01:40So we shoot these things way in advance.
01:42I'm going to save that because the campaign was a really special moment and there was a lot of meaning behind it.
01:47But the concealer that we did work on, it's our faux filter concealer.
01:50I am going to share that with you guys now.
01:52I'll show you guys a little application too.
01:54And hopefully it's not too early and you guys are still really excited about it.
01:57To make sure this doesn't happen again, and I don't know if this is a good idea or a bad idea, it could be a terrible idea.
02:01But, you know, I guess, like, you know, to be honest, I'm frustrated.
02:05I'm frustrated that this person keeps doing this.
02:08So we're just going to share with you guys our launch plan for the entire year.
02:10So without further ado, I'm going to introduce to you guys our new faux filter concealer.
02:14Oh, it's so beautiful.
02:15Kind of reminds me of our faux filter packaging.
02:17And it says faux filter concealer on this side with a hashtag.
02:21It is 14 hour wear.
02:23Waterproof, transfer proof, as well as sweat proof.
02:25It's super blendable and it's also buildable.
02:27It's also fragrance free, like all of our faux filter complexion products are.
02:31And more important than anything, it has zero flashback.
02:34No under eyes looking like kind of crazy.
02:36We also have 29 beautiful shades.
02:38Our original collection of Overachiever actually had 20 shades, but based on all of your recommendations,
02:42we added nine new shades to make sure that we could have something for every single person out there.
02:45We also have vitamin E and sweet almond oil.
02:48It really is great for dark circles in the under eye area.
02:50So I'm going to show you guys the applicator as well.
02:52We have this really nice large dofa applicator.
02:55It's really luxurious.
02:56It feels really amazing when you use it as well.
02:58We also created this really amazing concealer brush.
03:02It has an amazing dome kind of applicator.
03:05Really, really just applies the concealer seamlessly.
03:08I'm going to go ahead and do a full application so you guys can see some of my favorite tips
03:12when it comes to applying the perfect complexion.
03:15So I'm going to use our faux filter.
03:17I'm just going to go ahead and apply it to the areas where I have foundation.
03:20So a lot of people will apply foundation to their full face and then they'll apply concealer.
03:23I don't do that.
03:24I don't think it's also necessary.
03:25It's really just important to apply foundation in areas where you need the foundation.
03:29So I'm going to apply just onto my mixing plate and I am just going to grab a medium
03:35sized brush and I'm just applying it to the cheek areas and I'm really blending it out.
03:40And you can see I'm leaving my under eye area kind of plain for the concealer application.
03:45So I like to use two concealers when I am doing my full complexion.
03:49By no means do you have to use two concealers.
03:52This is because I really like to accentuate some areas.
03:54So I will teach you guys my method starting first with one concealer and then going further
03:58with a second concealer.
03:59And we will have a shade guide to try to walk you guys through everything and hopefully you
04:03guys do find your right shade.
04:04I wear Macchiato in our faux filter foundation and I actually wear Granola in our concealer.
04:10We try to make the shade families work.
04:12So I'm 400G and this is 4.5G.
04:15So I'm going to demonstrate on half of my face so you guys can see the difference of the
04:18before and after.
04:19The thing I love so much about this formula and you're going to see as I'm applying it
04:22is the consistency is just a dream.
04:25We spent over three years developing this and what I love so much is that it does have
04:29very strong pigmentation but it's really really light.
04:32It's not a heavy concealer.
04:34You can wear it on its own.
04:35You can even wear it on your full face.
04:36I've done that many many times and I love it.
04:38But it also is just this most beautiful consistency to where you don't need to apply a lot but you
04:42get a beautiful amount of coverage and it just looks amazing in areas where the skin
04:47is so thin.
04:47That's why I didn't apply any foundation and I'm just going to go in with a concealer
04:50and I'm going to go with a really nice light amount.
04:53So I'm going to first start.
04:54So this concealer has been used quite a bit so you can see it.
04:57I try to clean it often but I'm always using it.
04:59I'm always using it on the go.
05:00So don't mind.
05:01This is my actual concealer and I'm going to go ahead and start and I'm going to apply
05:04it on one face so you guys can see the before and the after and I'm just going to
05:07go ahead and I'm going to apply a small amount here.
05:09I applied three dots just to keep it really nice and natural and I'm going to go ahead and I'm
05:13just going to blend this and I'm just using this brush that we created because it's
05:16a little bit shaped like your finger is so it really just conceals in a really nice
05:21kind of airbrush way and I'm blending and then pushing the product into the under eye.
05:26That just helps the product just sit really nicely in the skin.
05:28It helps it blend really nicely to the product around the eyes.
05:30You can see just that small amount of product what it's done for the under eye area here.
05:37Now this is a extra step which you don't need to do but I love to do this.
05:41I love the way that it lifts my face.
05:43It just makes my face look even more three-dimensional which I love so much.
05:46and this is using a lighter concealer and I actually want a couple shades lighter.
05:50So this is graham cracker and this is 4.1g so we have a couple shades in between.
05:53I want quite brighter and what I love is I just use it to further emphasize the dimension
06:00of the face.
06:01I want to bring up some areas highlight areas.
06:03I use it sparingly but I use it in really strategic spaces.
06:06So what I'm going to do here is I'm first I really want to snatch this area around the
06:10eye.
06:11I do like to wear a lot of eyeliner a lot of eyeshadows so I feel like you kind of need this
06:15when you're wearing a lot of eye makeup otherwise it can look the opposite it can look a little
06:18droopy and I'm going to go a little bit here in the corner here too and then I like to put
06:21a little bit here around my nasolobial fold and then I also like to put it in the corner
06:27of lips a dot on the chin and just down the nose.
06:32I'm literally just going into areas where I really want to show the three-dimensional
06:37side.
06:37I'm just going to use a powder puff actually to blend this out because I just love the
06:41way I can get really precise with a corner here.
06:44For any contouring that I do actually end up doing I will do very little but you will see
06:48a nice amount of lifting happening too and I will contour less because of this so you can
06:53see the lift immediately happen.
06:55So I am going to do the contouring with powder so I'm going to go ahead and start baking.
07:00I'm going to use our Easy Bake in Banana Bread.
07:04My holy grail of baking products is just the best and I'm going in there and I'm going
07:09in the inner corner really setting that in there and dragging that outward.
07:13I'm going to apply a small amount of Easy Bake as well on my chin here and then I'm going
07:17to go in the nasolobial.
07:18Anywhere that I've applied concealer I'm basically applying powder and I have not contoured yet.
07:22So you can see how much highlighting we have just from concealing and applying powder
07:27in the right places.
07:28So I just want to show you guys my complexion.
07:30I'm going to finish it now off camera and I'll come back but you guys can see when you apply
07:34the concealer and Easy Bake in the right place what it does to your face.
07:38It lifts, it highlights, it makes it look so healthy and so three-dimensional versus just
07:42using a foundation or you know a concealer all over the face.
07:45So I'm going to finish my complexion and I'm going to come back.
07:47So I have finished my complexion.
07:49You can see my under eye looks bright, looks healthy.
07:52It looks like I rested well even though I definitely did not last night but you can see how the
07:56complexion looks and I actually don't have that much cream product on my face.
08:00It's just about applying the right colors in the right place and you know really just
08:03applying it really nice and naturally and it gives you such a beautiful three-dimensional
08:07look which is really really really important.
