00:00hi morning just want to know that hardik we saw left the field feeling his hammy and then also
00:06abhishek also it looked like it was hamstring knee so if you could just give us an idea about
00:13what exactly happened to them and what's like is it something of concern before the finals
00:19um so both of them struggled with cramp during the game um hardik i know will uh assess sort of
00:30tonight and tomorrow morning and you know we'll make a call on that but um yeah both of them were
00:36just with cramp sorry during the game abhishek is fine abhishek is fine yeah uh coach uh we have seen
00:46we have seen some of the expensive spells in the second half of the innings in this tournament
00:50what is making the pacers at least difficult to bowl in such conditions especially uh even boomerai is
00:56going for runs today we saw the purchase both going for runs so for pacers what is the what are the
01:00challenges they are facing especially in the second part of the innings if you can look i think if you
01:06if you look at the trend of the tournament so far on here um it's almost like after 10 overs the
01:12scoring rate slows down so the new ball is almost coming on nicely margin for error is quite small
01:17with it with a new ball and you know as a bowling attack we are we we want to go that aggressive
01:22route and try and get wicked um so yeah bar our game here against um who was that against boomerable
01:34up front you know there hasn't really been a lot of swing up front so yeah i think for us it's just
01:38having that aggressive mindset to try and take wickets as many wickets as we can in that um in
01:44that power play on the face the first 10 overs because we know in that middle of a period i know
01:48aspiners are going to come into play coach um a lot of we have reached the final without any loss
01:55in this tournament but a lot of areas where we can improve uh what do you think um which are the areas
02:01key areas where you are looking for improvement the days the game is just day after tomorrow though yeah
02:08i mean i don't think in this tournament so far we've played the complete game um there's all you
02:13know every every after every game in discussions of areas we would like to improve and get better on
02:20you know if we start with the batting can we on tough conditions rotate strike a little bit better
02:24you know get our our two our two runs you know running between the wickets our twos can we get that up
02:31um you know can we protect partnerships a little bit because newback walking in here is quite tough
02:38for those guys to start but still have that aggressive mindset from a bowling um um bowling point of view
02:45you know talk specifically about the first six of the first 10 overs how we can improve with our lens
02:50with our accuracy with our thinking with ball in hand um you know in that middle middle phases um you
02:58know just sort of our over sequence in terms of maybe bringing in you know the odd yorker uh i think
03:04the trend has been because the wicked are slightly on the slower side to go off pace and and batters are
03:09lining that up so it's just that general thinking under pressure a little bit that we need to get
03:14sharper at i mean the boys have skills they've played in a lot of wide ball cricket um but i just think
03:20for this group a little bit under pressure just to have a little bit more smarter clarity thinking uh with
03:25ball in hand and execute better i think at the end of the day we can have all the plans but we still
03:29need to execute better and then with the field in the field you know obviously catching and um you know
03:35we we've we've we've worked hard on our catching on the light so maybe it's just a little bit of a
03:39confidence thing um and yeah just try and squeeze the guys in the field so all departments there is
03:45um uh you know work that that the work that we need to be done we buy by no means the finish article
03:52and we know that but you know luckily we we've we've won and we've won sometimes in ugly fashion
03:57but we'll take that and as a group always take the learning and look to improve and and and take it
04:03on on sunday in an inconsequential match such a show from an opponent is it good before the final
04:12or it it will do a lot of good for the final that's yeah look i i mean yes it's good for the final but i'm
04:20also looking uh down the line you know for this guys to to play a game like this um you know i
04:25always challenge the players to to want the ball in tough situations and obviously taking the ball
04:31here tonight and bowling that super over and executing well that's great science you know
04:35the more we can find ourselves in in in sticky situations and execute well and take the learning
04:41from that that's how this group is is going to grow so um yes sometimes it is frustrating from the
04:47side you know if we don't get it all together but there's there's a bigger picture in mind there's
04:52there's a process in mind is these guys are also still you know learning different conditions and and
04:58learning their trade and that's going to that's going to that's going to take time um so happy with
05:02you know with getting tested again tonight uh with the ball and seeing how certain individuals
05:08characters stand up with that pressure uh obviously uh cricket is a numbers game and the numbers will
05:15reflect that arch deep and and harsh it went for more than 100 runs in eight hours but when they
05:20don't play as many games as they do and suddenly they come and play one game after every three four
05:24games or four games so how as a group how do you reconcile to that and how do you ensure that when
05:29they come into the game they're not too keen to try and you know overreach that's that's a great
05:35question and a fair point you know i don't want to use that as an excuse i i think you know in our in
05:41our environment we want to move away from the excuse culture the way these guys train the effort we put
05:46in the training you know we expect them every time to go out and deliver and you're right you know
05:51sometimes it is a lack of game time um you can buy as many overs uh as you like in the in the nets
05:57but you know game time nothing beats that but like i said you know i expect them with the quality of work
06:02that they've put in as a team we expect our guys to deliver and unfortunately at the night at the moment
06:07that you know things are not happening for them but the bigger picture is the team is winning
06:12and these guys they're the x-factor and those match winners on the day you know if it's their
06:16day they can cash in and they can win a game for us as long as the team is winning the other guys
06:20we can catch up but you know fair point from your side in terms of game time and match time
06:30morning given the you know short turnaround between this game which has already spilled over
06:35later than usual because of the super over and the final can you tell us or take us through you
06:40know what the recovery process especially with the fast bowling uh group will be is it about allowing
06:45them to you know find their methods and recover on their own or you have like a as a group give them
06:50some set instructions and prevent them from training tomorrow yeah i don't think there will be any
06:55training uh tomorrow so the key for the boys um you know they're already all in the ice bars and
07:03their recovery sort of started straight away after the game um and the best way to recover
07:08sleep and to stay off your feet so hopefully they can all get a good night's sleep tonight
07:13um you know wake up tomorrow i'm pretty sure there will be a pool session individual pool pool session
07:18for the guys uh organized and then from there it is just you know getting a flush from the masseuses
07:24getting massages and getting themselves mental ready for for a big battle on sunday you know like i said
07:29it's a it's a quick turn around so playing this smart is going to be key but there will certainly
07:33be no training coach uh could you please decode the strategy of uh the way yeah could you please
07:40decode the strategy of the way uh jaspreet bumra has been used by the team management in this tournament
07:46like three hours in the power play uh generally we see that teams whether when he played for the
07:52country or for his franchisee teams then generally they tend to spread his over for the different part of
07:57the innings but this time his majority of the awards he's bowling in the power play so if you can just
08:03throw a little bit of light in this thought process yeah look uh it's obviously a tough job
08:12but jaspreet is uh it's the best bowler one of the best and um with the new
08:18ball obviously we're looking to take wicket i think if you can get a team down you know
08:27or you make life a lot easier for you and on the surface you know the the
08:32wicket is playing in a certain way um sort of the plan is no no secret that
08:38will spin you know after the power play so what a great opportunity for the best bowler um
08:46um swinging bowling yorkers to to strike first up front um the number one rule or the goal rule
08:54in t20 cricket is to take wickets um and if we can do that by using one of our best bowlers and for
09:00us to to strike um weapons uh that might check you know according to what we feel best in the day but
09:09yeah we just felt it is a nice opportunity to give him that that that role to try and strike first up
09:14and uh and get
09:19hi mone uh abhishek obviously has been in super form right through this tournament
09:24you work briefly with shaheen for a brief time if you could just set up that battle for us and do you
09:29think that like how that may shape up and do you think that's one of like the key battles uh in
09:34in the final yeah i think it's you know there's definitely exciting the way um they play the
09:41cricket you know shaheen is obviously aggressive we'll try and knock you over and uh it's not back
09:49i think so far you know two went head to head at this all we all as supporters and fans are on the edge
09:56of a seat and that's great for the game um yeah so let's look forward to that on on sunday and um
10:04you know enjoy the battle thank you morning and uh maulen thank you thank you
