00:00Here, first they've done cos theta into rho 1, then rho 1 plus sin theta into rho 2, followed by rho 2 minus sin theta into rho 1.
00:09Basically, what they're trying to do is trying to make this an identity matrix.
00:13So, an identity matrix into the inverse, which is another matrix, will get you an answer.
00:17That means that the inverse is the answer.
00:20That's basically what they're trying to do, right?
00:22So, do I have to, I don't have to use this exact method.
00:26I can get it to the identity matrix however I want.
00:30I have always had an interest in math ever since I was 3 years old.
00:35I started solving addition and subtraction and realized that I enjoyed it a lot.
00:41I loved solving these questions mentally and soon moved on to more complex addition and subtraction.
00:49After this, I felt that I had understood these topics and moved on to higher maths.
00:56I used to ask my father what he studied when in the 10th standard and made efforts to learn increasingly higher level concepts in maths.
01:08I promised myself that I would tackle these topics soon.
01:12I managed.
01:13By the time I was in the 4th standard, I was studying some concepts of 11th and 12th standard maths.
01:22I managed to find time for my studies at school and also my higher maths studies at the same time.
01:29That's because, to me, maths doesn't feel like work.
01:33It's a fun thing for me to do and I enjoy studying it a lot.
01:38In fact, from the 1st standard, I started taking part in National Math Olympians.
01:44By the time I was in the 5th standard, I had come first nationwide in 3 different exams.
01:52I then started focusing on International Olympians and took part in the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad, Thailand IMO,
02:03and the Turkish International Mathematical Olympiad, Turkish IMO.
02:07In the Thailand IMO, I got a gold medal in the country level round and qualified for the final, or global, round.
02:16In the global round, I got another gold medal, the World Star Award and the Leibniz and Euler Prizes.
02:24In the Turkish IMO, I got a gold medal in the 1st round once again.
02:30In the international round, I came 3rd internationally, secured a gold medal and got the World Star Award.
02:38But, my favourite Olympiad so far has been the Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad, HKIMO.
02:45I got a gold medal in the 1st round and in the final, or global round, I managed to win 8 prizes.
02:54I ranked 2nd globally, won a gold medal, the World Star Award and a free and easy pass.
03:01I also won the Buhl, Leibniz, Euler and Euclid Prizes for perfect scores in the Logical Reasoning, Algebra, Number Theory and Geometry sections respectively.
03:14My gold medals in the Thailand IMO and HKIMO have qualified me for the World International Mathematical Olympiad WIMO in China in 2026 and I hope to do well there.
03:29The one interesting thing I learnt about preparing for the Hikimo and now the WIMO though, is that I realised that as much as I love maths, I have started spending more and more time and energy on preparation.
03:45But, that's ok. If you love something and are passionate about it, you should be ready to invest time in it.
03:53My hobbies are table tennis, football and chess.
03:59I play chess and football often, but my favourite sport is table tennis.
04:04There are times when I go to play table tennis 4 times a week.
04:09Whenever I get the opportunity, I ask my father if we can go to the club after school to play table tennis.
04:17My role model is my father.
04:19I have always been in awe of the fact that he knows the answers to all my questions.
04:25He is my teacher and always teaches me patiently, making sure I understand.
04:31If I don't grasp a problem or a concept, he will revisit the topic again and again, just so that I understand the fundamentals.
04:42He teaches me higher maths and helps me prepare for Olympians.
04:46I am a person that doesn't like to give advice.
04:51It sounds too formal and grand.
04:54I'd like to make a suggestion to all the other people who, like me, love maths.
05:01I would like to tell them just one thing.
05:05Math is not a subject that you have to learn or remember.
05:08It's a beautiful language that you should try to understand.
05:11What they think you know is a person that you should try to find yourself.
