00:04with an Israeli government that threatens to annex the West Bank

00:07and continues to destroy and kill in Gaza?

00:10Since October 7th, 67,000 people have been killed

00:14and 154,000 others injured.

00:18Tens of thousands of the dead are children.

00:20What international body could stop Benjamin Netanyahu today,

00:27along with his American ally?

00:28Can they stop him?

00:29Do they want to stop him?

00:32First, we must explain, demonstrate and put forward proposals,

00:36as we are doing now, to the Israeli authorities and to public opinion.

00:41Next, the plan we have drawn up shows that Israel is not left alone.

00:46And I believe there is something profoundly false

00:48in what Prime Minister Netanyahu sometimes says,

00:51that Israel is all alone in the face of adversity,

00:54surrounded by hostile neighbors and therefore has no choice

00:57but to resort to war to protect itself.

01:02There are 142 states, including all the neighbors, saying,

01:06we want peace.

01:07We want an Israel living in peace alongside a Palestine.

02:03I truly believe in this collective capacity to exert pressure today.

02:07No one should accept the annexation of the West Bank.

02:11It has nothing to do with October 7, nothing to do with Hamas.

02:16It is the signature of a colonial project.

02:19That is why it is unacceptable.

02:21And today, we must all work to end the fighting in Gaza,

02:24because it is a humanitarian duty,

02:26a duty, I would say, of sheer humanity.

02:29We must return to this path of demanding diplomacy.

02:36that the United States of America will carry this forward

02:39in order to also implement a peace plan
