00:00Now, last week in London, the U.S. President Donald Trump said he was working to get back the Bagram airbase in Afghanistan,
00:08adding, we're trying to get back Bagram because they need things from us.
00:13What things was he referring to, do you think? And what exactly do you want from Washington?
00:23There are two issues here which we need to separate.
00:26First, Afghanistan does indeed need good relations, foreign investment, including from the U.S.,
00:33and a trustworthy diplomatic environment, where both countries can interact based on their national interests.
00:41Second, regarding Bagram, Bagram is part of Afghanistan's territory.
00:47It is no different from any other piece of Afghan land.
00:51We will never agree to bargain away or hand over any part of our country.
00:57Afghans are extremely sensitive about occupation, and no Afghan will ever allow their land to be taken or controlled by outsiders, not even an inch.
01:09The Americans must understand this sensitivity.
01:12Our people will not accept foreign troops exercising authority over any part of Afghanistan.
01:18We heard Trump's remarks, and we responded.
01:22We issued a statement urging them to consider the reality on the ground and make realistic, rational decisions.
01:28that's not a way of saying, no, that's why.
01:30You are going to take my other troops as well.
01:30The Americans need to move to protect themselves, which we have to do to protect ourselves.
01:31You are going to be able to approach ourselves as well.
01:32You are going to take the rights to what isción and not a place where the soldiers are.
01:35That's why the parents need to be taken.
01:36You will not be able to do that.
01:37Follow us on the ground in the ground and we will never do that.
01:39With all the people of the soldiers, we will never do that.
01:40The Americans need to be made their ask themselves.
