This band would have been bigger than the Beatles if tragedy never struck.
00:03
In the year 1958, a band called the Dinos would form consisting of quadruplet brothers named Dick, Nick, Rick, and Cletus Overstreet.
00:12
In 1962, they would make it mainstream with their chart-topping single called Why Do Clouds Cry,
00:19
followed by a debut hit album called I Love Sugar Daddies.
00:23
But by the end of the 1960s, the brothers became well-known for their crazy music videos.
00:28
But in the year 1969, while filming a music video during a battle in the Vietnam War,
00:35
Nick would lose his life while attempting to hug an enemy soldier.
00:39
After the tragedy, the band still decided to continue with just three.
00:44
In 1973, they would write a hit song called The Island Is My Friend and decided to film it on North Sentinel.
00:51
During the filming of the video, Dick was struck by an arrow,
00:53
and the remaining brothers and crew were forced to abandon the island and had to watch Dick get pulled into the island.
01:00
The remaining two brothers retired from music altogether and ended up starting a record label based in New York,
01:05
but that would be short-lived.
01:06
The end of the interview has only been called The Island Is My Friend.
