The lines of the seemingly free-floating instrument panel flow directly into the generously proportioned door panels, creating an enveloping wrap-around effect for the passengers. The instrument panel, with its atmospherically backlit textile surface, contributes to the cozy interior atmosphere. Furthermore, the horizontally aligned cockpit is significantly characterized by the new BMW Panoramic iDrive control system. It is based on the newly developed BMW Operating System X.
