00:00Join me as I put the 2025 Suzuki Jimny Sierra pickup to the test and tackle some of the

00:07most extreme off-road terrain out there.

00:09The 2025 Suzuki Jimny Sierra pickup is a highly anticipated vehicle, and for good reason.

00:16This little truck is designed to take on the toughest off-road challenges, with a rugged

00:21design and a reputation for being nearly unstoppable.

00:24One of the most exciting things about the Jimny Sierra pickup is its compact size.

00:30Which makes it perfect for navigating tight trails and rough terrain.

00:33It's also got a pretty cool look to it, with a bold front grille and a chunky design that

00:38screams off-road capability.

00:41But don't just take my word for it.

00:42The Jimny Sierra pickup has some serious credentials.

00:46It's built on a ladder frame chassis, which provides a strong foundation for off-road

00:51adventures.

00:51And with a ground clearance of over 9 inches, it's got plenty of room to clear rocks and

00:57other obstacles.

00:57I've heard rumors that this thing can handle some serious rough stuff, and I'm excited

01:03to see what it can do.

01:05So, let's get out there and see if the Jimny Sierra pickup lives up to the hype.

01:09The terrain we're about to tackle is some of the toughest you'll ever see.

01:13We've got rocky outcroppings, steep inclines, and muddy bogs.

01:17It's a real challenge for any vehicle.

01:20And to make things even more interesting, we're going to be driving in some pretty bad weather,

01:24with heavy rain and strong winds.

01:27First up, we've got a steep incline that's covered in loose rocks and gravel.

01:31This is going to be a real test of the Jimny's traction and stability.

01:36And just to make things more interesting, we're going to be driving up this hill with the wind

01:40blowing straight into our face.

01:42Next, we've got a rocky outcropping that's going to test the Jimny's approach and departure

01:47angles.

01:47We'll be driving right over some big rocks, and I want to see how the Jimny handles it.

01:53The rain is making the rocks slippery, so this is going to be a real challenge.

01:57Then there's the muddy bog, which is probably the most treacherous part of the terrain.

02:01We'll be driving through a deep layer of mud that's almost knee-deep, and I want to see

02:06if the Jimny can make it through without getting stuck.

02:09We'll also be driving on some rough trails with lots of bumps and potholes.

02:13And to make things even more challenging, we'll be driving at night, with only our headlights

02:18to guide us.

02:20The Jimny's got some serious specs that make it well-suited for off-road adventures.

02:25It's got a 1.5 liter engine that produces 102 horsepower, which doesn't sound like a

02:30lot, but it's plenty for this little truck.

02:32And with a curb weight of just over 2,600 pounds, it's got a great power-to-weight ratio.

02:38The Jimny's also got a great suspension system, with a live axle in the rear and an independent

02:44suspension up front.

02:45This gives it a smooth ride on rough terrain, and it's also got plenty of travel to absorb

02:50big bumps.

02:51One of the things that really sets the Jimny apart is its 4-wheel drive system.

02:56It's got a 2-speed transfer case, which allows us to switch between 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive

03:02on the fly.

03:02And with a locking rear differential, we can get maximum traction in really rough terrain.

03:09The Jimny's also got some great safety features, like hill-hold assist and a multi-mode 4-wheel

03:14drive system.

03:15This gives us plenty of confidence when driving on steep inclines or slippery surfaces.

03:21As we head into the toughest part of the terrain, I want to take a closer look at how the Jimny

03:25handles.

03:26It's got a turning radius of just over 33 feet, which makes it easy to maneuver in tight

03:32spaces.

03:33The Jimny's also got some great approach and departure angles, with an approach angle of

03:3828 degrees and a departure angle of 37 degrees.

03:42This means we can drive right over big rocks and other obstacles without worrying about scraping

03:48the front or rear of the truck.

03:49We've also got a 12.8-gallon fuel tank, which gives us plenty of range for long off-road

03:55adventures.

03:56And with an estimated EPA rating of 20 miles per gallon combined, we can drive all day

04:02without breaking the bank.

04:04The Jimny's interior is also pretty cool, with some great features like a touchscreen infotainment

04:09system and a digital instrument cluster.

04:12It's not the most luxurious interior, but it's definitely functional and easy to use.

04:17As we tackle the toughest part of the terrain, I'm excited to see how the Jimny performs.

04:23We're about to drive up a huge rock face, and I want to see if the Jimny can make it

04:28to the top.

04:29The Jimny's got some serious momentum as we hit the rock face, and it's actually making

04:33it up the hill pretty easily.

04:35The four-wheel drive system is working great, and we're not slipping or sliding at all.

04:41This is it, the moment of truth.

04:42The Jimny's cresting the top of the hill, and we're taking a deep breath as we look

04:48down the other side.

04:49It's a pretty intimidating view, but the Jimny's handling it like a pro.

04:53The Jimny Sierra pickup performed amazingly well in the extreme conditions.

04:59It handled rough terrain with ease, and it even made it up some hills that I didn't think

05:03it could do.

05:04One of the things that really impressed me was the Jimny's traction and stability.

05:09It never slipped or slid, even on the most challenging terrain.

05:13Of course, no vehicle is perfect, and the Jimny did have some weaknesses.

05:19The interior could be a bit more luxurious, and the infotainment system could be more user-friendly.

05:25But overall, I'm really impressed with the Jimny Sierra pickup.

05:28It's a serious off-road contender that's definitely worth checking out.
