00:08progress? The pressure that civil society is putting is having an effect. So these governments

00:14aren't out of the blue deciding to recognize the state of Palestine. This is because civil society

00:18have been organizing tirelessly in order to demand accountability for Israeli crimes throughout

00:23Palestine. So this proves that governments are feeling the pressure and are feeling that they

00:28have to do something. Now, recognizing the Palestinian state is not a demand that will help stop Israeli

00:34genocide against the Palestinian people. Only binding measures that put an end to Israeli

00:39impunity and to Israel's crimes over the Palestinian people can actually stop what is happening on the

00:44ground, what Israel is doing with international states and international companies' complicity.
