00:02In 1979, a boy named Kevin moved into a small Indiana neighborhood with his family.
00:08He was quickly warned by the other neighborhood kids to stay far away from the house that was in front of his
00:12and that it was owned by an evil man named Mr. Dennis.
00:16The kids explained to Kevin that a former friend of theirs who went to retrieve a baseball that landed on his porch
00:21was quickly snatched and pulled into his home and was never seen from again.
00:26After just a few days of living there, Kevin noticed that he would see Mr. Dennis staring at him all the time through his window.
00:32But one night he saw Mr. Dennis leave in his car, so Kevin saw this as an opportunity to sneak into the man's home
00:38and he did through an opened bathroom window.
00:41Once inside, he quickly realized how weird the home was with creepy paintings and furniture.
00:46Kevin would then find the basement door and wasn't sure if he should go down there
00:50until he heard Mr. Dennis pull back into the driveway and panically went down there.
00:56While down in the basement, Kevin was shocked to see how big it was and why there were so many rooms.
01:01After just a few minutes, the man would open the basement door and come down.
01:06Kevin would then hide in one of the room's dressers.
01:09After a few minutes, he heard the footsteps of the man go back upstairs.
01:12Believing the coast was clear, he had a sigh of relief until the dresser doors opened
