00:00Pastor Dixon delivered a clear message, no more drugs in the community, no more crime in the
00:12community. He urged residents to focus on their salvation and turn their lives around, emphasizing
00:20that real change begins with choosing a different path. We are here letting the community know that
00:26as a church, as a church, our young people, we too are tired of the crime in the community.
00:33We too are tired of reading of tragedies and crime and violence and we want the community
00:39to know that there is a difference that we can make as a church and as young people and
00:45there is a difference in Jesus Christ. Elder Brian Hutchinson says crime is crippling the
00:52country and the church is determined to play its part in the fight against violence. He
00:58tells us this was the Five Rivers Seven Day Adventist Church's third anti-crime march, stressing
01:05the importance of being a permanent presence in the community.
01:09While our community is relatively calm, we want it to remain that way. So we are sending
01:15a message today that, listen, Jesus is the answer. Come on board. Let him be part of your life
01:22so you will not play a part in the crime that is escalating in our country. So we are trusting
01:27that this being our third anti-crime march, it will have the same positive attributes and
01:33same positive vibes as all the others had before. Those at the march played their instruments dressed
01:39in red and black and walked with determination in the fight against crime. Here is a short
01:46glimpse of the day's event.
