00:00Elisabetta, congratulations! You must be thrilled with your performance today.
00:18Could you please tell us about the match, how it went for you?
00:21For sure, I'm really happy. I'm super happy right now about the performance, about the win today.
00:29I played a really great match against a really tough opponent.
00:32So, I'm super happy and super proud to take the first point for Italy.
00:38Can you tell us about the performance of your performance today?
00:44He said, I'm very happy. I'm very happy for your performance today.
00:50Because my opponent is a very difficult opponent.
00:53So, I'm very happy for the victory today.
00:58Thank you. Questions please?
01:01Congratulations on your performance.
01:04After the semi-final, your singles match in the semi-final, you said you were going to learn from the experience and kind of lift yourself up after it.
01:13You clearly did today. I know it's a different opponent, but what felt different on court today compared to then?
01:20For sure, it feels amazing to have turned this attitude on court.
01:25Yesterday, I spoke a lot with my coach.
01:30We said that I have to improve my attitude on court to be aggressive no matter what, to be positive and to train hard as hard as I can.
01:39And yesterday, I was really focused on practice.
01:42Also today, I was really focused on how I had to play the strategy and everything.
01:46So, I'm really happy about how the attitude I put on the court and also how I was focused on court, about the strategy and not about everything else.
01:58But just focus on Dennis. And yes, I was positive. I was, yes, everything. So, I'm really, really happy. But, I mean, we have not done yet.
02:09Jasmina is playing. So, after this and some recovery, I will cheer for her.
02:14And you talk about being aggressive. You could tell that that was your strategy today. You were really taking the match to her. How did you keep that up consistently for the whole match?
02:25I remind myself to not think about the score, for example, but just to play near the court, to, yes, to just to be aggressive, to move her and sometimes to go to the volleys and to serve as many firsts as I can because she's a really attacking player on the second serve.
02:45But, yes, I was focused just to be positive, not against me, but against the opponent. And, yes, it went well. So, I'm super happy about that.
02:57And just lastly, your reaction at the end of the match was you looked almost emotional for a moment as well. Can you talk a little bit about those emotions you had?
03:05I was really nervous in the match point because, of course, it was a really important match, not just for me, but also for my country, for all my teammates.
03:16So, I just try to stay focused and don't think about the match point, but think about the strategy and said to myself, run every ball and go for it.
03:27And that's what I did. And my reaction was, yes, almost I was crying, but I said to myself, okay, keep the emotion. And, yes, but anyway, I'm super happy.
03:39More questions in English?
03:42Congratulations. So, you win and lose and win is like an ups and downs journey. But the Italian team actually make the court your home court.
03:52You have a lot of people cheering for you, like Chinese fans. It's really like your home court. How do you feel about the whole journey?
03:59Because it's the end of the match today. How do you feel about the journey here in Shenzhen and with all the Chinese fans cheering for you guys?
04:05For sure, it was amazing seeing a lot of Chinese people cheering for us. We also gave our papers with Forza Ragazze. That means, come on, girls.
04:16So, they were really cute, really nice. And the crowd support me a lot today, the Italian crowd, the Chinese crowd. So, I'm really honored for that.
04:28If there is one thing you remember the most during the match, what would that be?
04:33In the first games of the second set, I was a little bit more nervous. And, yes, but I tried to say to myself, don't be nervous, don't lose energy, but stay there, stay focused, and try to keep the emotion inside of you. And that's what I did, and I'm really happy about that.
04:54Thank you. Congratulations again.
04:57Any other questions in English? Questions in Chinese?
05:01You're Milton and you want.
05:03Questions in Italian. Thank you.
05:05Sì, complimenti, davvero.
06:12Sì, ciao.
06:14Grazie.
