00:00In the heart of South Kashmir's Anantanag district, where apple trees cling to steep
00:20meadows and mountain slopes, a quiet revolution is taking place.
00:25Meet 25-year-old Uwais Khan. He never finished school, but he never stopped learning.
00:32Forced to drop out after 6th grade due to financial struggles, Uwais turned to online
00:37videos and sheer determination to chase a dream. A dream to make life easier not just
00:43for himself, but for every apple farmer in his village.
00:47From discarded vehicle parts, old gears and metal scraps, Uwais built a game-changing
00:53machine, an apple gondola.
01:00This makeshift cable car now carries heavy apple crates from high orchards to ground level,
01:06saving time, labor and lives.
01:10Now we have 3 years ago, Uwais Khan, Uwais Khan, Uwais Khan, Uwais Khan, Uwais Khan
01:15and Uwais Khan had to shoot 100 crates.
01:18After the morning, we started to shoot 100 crates, but after the second day, we didn't
01:23have any trouble.
01:24Then Uwais Khan said that we didn't want to make something for this, and Uwais Khan
01:28had to make this decision.
01:30Then Uwais Khan made Uwais Khan.
01:32Today we have created, we're here so much money.
01:37Today we live here, 3 people total money, 2000 people, to lose 2 thousand people.
01:40It's not wage, it's not a problem, it's not a problem.
01:42It's not a problem, it's not a problem, it's not a problem.
01:43It's not a problem, it's a problem, it's not a problem.
01:45This is the best thing made here.
01:48It's the best thing, just a person can load, it's not a problem.
01:51If it can be more and more, if it can be needed, it can be necessary.
01:55Today, O.S. employs five people and is working to expand his innovation across Kashmir.
02:14His goal? To build more gondolas and empower more farmers.
02:25O.S. says his family has provided him all the support he needed to make this project a success.
02:52He is also ready to share his innovation with other fruit farmers who may require it.
03:22He is also ready to make this project more than 7-8 liters per hour.
03:25Then, I have used this technique to give 25,000 dollars per hour.
03:32And, it costs about 7-8,000 dollars per hour.
03:37We have a backbone of Kashmir. There are many archers such as me, where there is no road, no car.
03:46I don't need government support, because God has asked us to do this.
03:55If there is a bad person who has an archer, there is a lot of money,
04:02so the government needs to give them spam.
04:07We can also help them in making them.
04:11From the scrap heap to the slope of the Himalayas,
04:14O.S. Khan turned an idea into impact.
04:17No formal education, just a big heart, a brilliant mind and a belief.
