02:52And WWE, they weren't exactly titans of American broadcasting.
03:02They were upstarts.
03:04Welcome everyone to the ESPN Sports Center.
03:08In this very desk in the coming weeks and months, we'll be filling you in on the pulse of sporting activity.
03:13In just a moment, we're going to take you to the match.
03:15A very controversial match and there is no doubt.
03:18Outsiders.
03:18No, I'm still not sure just exactly how it works.
03:21Oddities.
03:22These are people that cannot be controlled.
03:25But the stories they told, the best of them anyway, rub a piece.
03:31All the way live.
03:46Up to the satellite and onto your screen.
03:50Ending on a bang.
03:51But landing with a wink.
04:00If it's up to me, we're running these highlights every night on Sports Center.
04:05Aesthetically, there's a problem with them.
04:07Something that's technical stuff.
04:08Whatever the prevailing technology or the size of the screen, they listened.
04:14The Rock didn't even make The Rock.
04:17To you.
04:18The people made The Rock.
04:21And that's how it happens.
04:25How outsiders go mainstream.
04:27You better read the book, Matthew.
04:28Renegades morph into heroes.
04:30Let's go!
04:31And orthodoxies evaporate.
04:34Florence Taylor will wrestle in WrestleMania.
04:41Those time-worn lines between what's scripted.
04:44Here we go!
04:46And what's not?
04:58Dennis Rodman.
04:59On Monday, he didn't show up for work.
05:01Dennis Rodman is here!
05:02Something's worthless in practice for, brother.
05:05Between athletics.
05:07By the end of the United States!
05:09It's true!
05:11The wrestling-style takedown.
05:13Touchdown Aaron Rodgers!
05:14And the amusement.
05:19Can I get one more of those?
05:20Sure.
05:24Don't apply anymore.
05:26Shaq welcomed into the world of the WWE.
05:30The biggest names.
05:31What are you doing to that, Pat?
05:32Are they Super Bowl rigs?
05:34And the biggest games.
05:36Big 12 championship game.
05:38Let's go!
05:39Continue to cross over.
05:41Halliburton and Brunson with a stare down.
05:43Garland's just absolute experts in the world.
05:46I'm a huge fan.
05:50Wrestling isn't a metaphor for the national condition.
05:56This is very, very entertaining.
05:58There's nothing bigger than the WWE.
06:00What a reflection of it.
06:03Best of the world is amazing.
06:04Best of the world, bro.
06:06This is the pitiful of entertainment.
06:13As are all games we play.
06:17We are the champion.
06:19Terrence Cowboys.
06:23Oh, they win!
06:28Oh, it's a win!
06:30Oh, it's a win!
06:31Oh, it's a win!
06:31Oh, it's a win!
06:31Oh, it's a win!
06:32Oh, it's a win!
06:32Oh, it's a win!
06:32Oh, it's a win!
06:33Oh, it's a win!
06:34Oh, it's a win!
06:35Oh, it's a win!
06:36Sports is entertainment, always has been, always will be.
07:06Oh mama, I've been here on the line, I've had a fight for my son.
07:12Oh my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my.
07:16I've been here on the line, I've had a fight for my son.
07:21Can you feel it?
07:33I said, can you feel it, Indianapolis?
07:38What you are about to witness
07:45is the final form of sports and entertainment.
07:51If tonight is your first night,
07:58let me welcome you to WWE.
08:04Let me welcome you to ESPN.
08:11Let me welcome you to Wrestle Palooza.
08:17Ladies and gentlemen, you are looking live at the sold-out Cambridge Fieldhouse in Indiana.
08:36Over 15,000 WWE fans are here tonight for Wrestle Palooza.
08:53How are you, everybody?
08:54I'm Michael Cole, Wade Barrett at ringside.
08:56How psyched are you, Wade?
08:57We are entering a brave new world.
09:00We've got a banging crowd.
09:02We've got a stacked card.
09:04What a night for our industry.
09:06I just wanna say how proud I am to be out here tonight,
09:09because this night is for me.
09:10It's for Wade Barrett.
09:11It's for all the WWE superstars, the production team, the office.
09:15WWE has arrived.
09:17Wrestle Palooza, live on ESPN.
09:25What is this?
09:29Oh, yeah!
09:30Ho, ho, ho, ho!
09:37I was wondering if he was gonna be here.
09:40I hadn't heard from Pat in a while.
09:42It's Mr. Indianapolis himself.
09:45Did you have any idea?
10:00I mean, if you got on the internet, everyone's been talking about it.
10:05Pat was gonna be here.
10:06I don't go on the internet.
10:07Wade has said you were fired and you're here tonight.
10:09That's what people wish I was.
10:12It's gonna be fun tonight.
10:27We are going to Planet McAfee here at Wrestle Palooza.
10:33Wait, I got our audio guy setting some stuff up here next to us.
10:39I think Pat McAfee may be joining us here at ringside.
10:42Oh, hell yeah.
10:43Someone saved the door to for once.
10:46Yes!
10:47Yes!
10:57Yeah!
10:59God, it's a love fest.
11:01You're making me sick!
11:02I've never in my life seen Michael Cole as happy as he is right now.
11:13Yeah.
11:14Jumping up and down like a-
11:15What a legendary night is gonna be.
11:17Uh-oh.
11:18He's starting off early.
11:19It's gonna be one of those nights, Wade.
11:20Stole up the boots.
11:25Get the cans off.
11:27So listen, Pat, there's no swimming pool.
11:32Okay.
11:33Don't take your pants off.
11:35I don't need to see any more of your junk today.
11:38Yeah.
11:39Take your pants off.
11:40It's Wrestle Palooza.
11:41Wrestle Palooza is kicking off in Indianapolis.
11:45It's an honor to be alongside of you boys again.
11:48Great to have you back.
11:49This is gonna be a night that's gonna go down in the history of the WWE in this business.
11:52Lucky to be here.
11:53Thankful to be here.
11:54Let's have a night in India.
11:55Let's go.
11:56Hell yeah.
11:57I'm a little windy.
11:58I'm a little windy.
12:00You look in great shape on game day.
12:04No where to hide in those Speedos.
12:07It was small.
12:08Had to make sure everything was in the car.
12:11That's very kind.
12:16You guys have seen extra loads of cold cut out for me.
12:19Exactly.
12:20For once.
12:22I watched last night.
12:23I'm happy you're okay.
12:25Me too.
12:26I needed you.
12:27I'll be back here, folks.
12:32Yeah, it's smart, Cole.
12:33I don't know what you've been doing these last few weeks, but it was not smart to get on this guy's bad side.
12:41Oh, my God.
12:42Oh, Michael Cole is currently hiding behind me.
12:46I assure you I will not be putting my body on the line like Corey Graves did last night.
12:59Pat.
13:00Every man for himself.
13:01Up 200 pounds, Pat.
13:02Brock Lesnar lifted me up, carried me around the ring, walked up the steps of me and dropped me in the ring, gave Corey Graves two F5, sent him home.
13:19I saw it all.
13:22The alpha male of our species does what he wants.
13:25He's coming this way.
13:26When he wants.
13:27And Cole, if I were you, I would stay away.
13:34I did make a request with management if we could call this one from the skybox.
13:39It was shot down immediately.
13:42Good call.
13:43And we are now in the line of fire.
13:45Yeah, I just made eye contact with the beast.
13:48Not a good place to be.
13:50Dead behind the eyes.
13:52Absolutely.
13:53Also behind his eyes were the largest heads in history.
13:57That's on top of a body that is sculpted to be the most athletic ever created.
14:04Well, this match tonight is brought to you by V-Better, where you earn rewards for doing better.
14:11John Cena's gonna earn his rewards tonight if he can somehow survive.
14:17The beast.
14:18That's a great point.
14:19I mean, the three of us were just petrified of this man walking within 20 feet of us.
14:24Imagine having to stand across the ring and hear that bell ringing.
14:29And the fight begins.
14:31I mean, look at this ape running back and forth in the ring.
14:36The eloquence of Pat McAfee is back.
14:40He can show a movie on his back.
14:53He looks bigger than he's ever been.
14:55This is unbelievable.
14:56I believe in him.
14:57Ten-time world champion, main eventing five WrestleManias.
15:10obery-
16:17Let's go to work, Stu.
16:19Yes, you got it!
16:21Yeah!
16:23Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
16:33Brock Lesnar does not look happy with the appearance of John Cena.
16:37The sight of all those kids on the stage is incongruent with the sight of the Beast standing at ringside.
16:47Kids do not want to watch the massacre that is about to go down.
16:51Three months remain in the retirement tour of John Cena, and hopefully it doesn't end prematurely here tonight at the hands of the Beast.
17:01P-Day, John.
17:03I'm coming for blood.
17:05From our last words of Brock Lesnar last night, the carnage he caused on SmackDown.
17:13And these two are just wee little boys in this business.
17:17They trained about an hour and a half south of here.
17:21And he went on pat, did he come two of the all-time greats.
17:29And that proposed that this is happening right here, right now.
17:43Let's get up to Alicia Taylor.
17:45Let's get up to Alicia Taylor.
17:59Let's get up to Alicia Taylor.
18:05Let's get up to Alicia Taylor.
18:11The following contest is scheduled for one call.
18:27Introducing first, he is the greatest of all time.
18:39The Never Seen 17.
18:44Celebrating with each and every one of you here tonight in Indianapolis.
18:52One final time.
18:57The last real champion, John Cena.
19:20And- Ladies and gentlemen.
19:23My name is Paul Heyman.
19:25In general.
19:26Whoa!
19:27Whoa!
19:28Whoa!
19:30Whoa!
19:31There's something in the water in Indianapolis.
19:34Wow!
19:35Wade, this must have been what Brock and Heyman were talking about last night.
19:39Ladies and gentlemen.
19:44My name is Paul Heyman.
19:49My name is Paul Heyman.
19:52Introducing the 17-seeing, goat slaying, Cena conquering, former NCAA, UFC, WWE,
20:09undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
20:22The last real ass kicker, Barack Lesnar.
20:28It is a big fight feel.
20:33The atmosphere is electric tonight in Indianapolis.
20:38Lesnar, Cena for the final time.
20:41What a big fight feel.
20:43It might be a short fight feel.
20:45Brock's got that look in his eye.
20:47And we are underway.
20:49And Brock goes right to the midsection of Cena.
20:51And Brock Lesnar now pounding away on the 17-time world champion.
20:55Pat, what does Cena have to do to try to stay in this match tonight?
20:58Yeah, like many times before with the Beast, he's just gonna have to survive.
21:02Because Brock is gonna batter him.
21:04He's the last real ass kicker is what Paul Heyman said.
21:07And that's what he's gonna be trying to do to Cena all damn night.
21:10And what about Brock Wade?
21:12What does he need to do to just put Cena away tonight?
21:14He needs to be Brock Lesnar.
21:17He needs to do exactly what he's done from the start.
21:20And I would guesstimate in about two minutes, this is gonna be over.
21:24And there's the big shoulder to the midsection of John Cena.
21:27And Cena trying to fight back now with the right hands to Lesnar.
21:30And Lesnar with a clothesline.
21:32Just pissed Brock Lesnar off, barely registered.
21:37Yeah, woke him up, and look at him peacocking around.
21:40What is he, 330 right now?
21:42He looks at him, Pat, you mentioned it as he walked out here.
21:44The look in the eyes of Lesnar.
21:46He's a very angry man, soulless man.
21:50Oh!
21:51He's gonna try to take John Cena's fresh new hair right off his head.
21:54Yeah, what was it John Cena said?
21:56I never wanted the retirement tour to be a nostalgia act.
21:59Well, John, you got your wish.
22:01Well, Brock Lesnar also told John it ain't no retirement tour until you face the beast.
22:06Remember, in his career, guys, the greatest of all time, John Cena.
22:11Only owns one pinfall victory over Brock Lesnar, just one, Pat.
22:16Yeah, Brock Lesnar does have a lot of losses to a lot of people.
22:20I'm surprised it's even one.
22:21I was expecting zero.
22:23Exactly.
22:24Guy's been a champion literally everywhere, and if he wanted to play in the NFL,
22:27he could have done that.
22:28And he's letting Indianapolis go ahead and witness some greatness right now.
22:31Well, John Cena did say he was at the point in his career when he should be afraid to fight Brock Lesnar.
22:37But he's always ready for a fight.
22:39I'm sure he's ready for this Brock, though.
22:41Look at the welts already building on the back of Cena.
22:43And now Brock Lesnar hoisting Cena up and marching around the ring with Cena on his shoulders,
22:49delivering a power slam all on the British Bulldog, and Lesnar driving Cena through the mat.
22:55What do we say, when someone's out of competition for two years like Brock Lesnar has been,
23:00normally you get a little ring rust, right?
23:02Normal rules do not apply to the beast incarnate.
23:07In fact, this is the first time Lesnar's been in a match in two years, and
23:11welcome to Suplex City, baby.
23:17Wrestle Palauza has just taken an exit to Suplex City, and Cena is about to get German
23:23Suplex right out of the United States of America.
23:25The first time these two men were in a match was 2001, Ohio Valley Wrestling.
23:29It was a tag team matchup.
23:31They'd meet a number of times up till 2004, and then the rivalry stalled for a bit before
23:36it was picked up a number of years later.
23:39The last time that they've actually been in a match together was 2015.
23:44The triple threat match involving Seth Rollins, and now the bear hug being applied by Lesnar,
23:49and he is massive.
23:51It does appear to have been a targeted attack on the midsection of John Cena from the start.
23:57Cena trying valiantly to fight back.
24:00And the alpha male of the species always has a strategy of playing.
24:04John Cena though, as we've mentioned before, one of the most powerful men,
24:07pound for pound in the history of WWE, but just being worn down right now by the beast.
24:13And this is exactly what the beast wants, beat you down so he can beat you up some more.
24:17That's Brock Lesnar wrestling.
24:19If you were in there, Pat, what would you do against Lesnar?
24:21Yeah, I would jump out.
24:23Smart man.
24:24Fear, two options, fight or flight.
24:27Flight is the correct one right now.
24:29Wade, have you ever been in the ring with Lesnar?
24:31I've never been in the ring.
24:32I got sent to split him and Undertaker at once, and I had to grab-
24:35Hold on, John Cena.
24:36He's in and out with Lesnar up on his shoulders.
24:38John Cena.
24:40Oh, and a clothesline by Lesnar dropping Cena.
24:44Clothesline to the face of John Cena.
24:47Just when it looked like a miracle AA was coming.
24:50Take another look at this back.
24:52Yeah, that's an adjustment.
24:53Thanks.
24:54That might be the last real Larian too.
24:56And it's interesting that Cena went for what he now calls the AA.
25:00He used to call it the FU early in his career, and that was a direct shot at Brock Lesnar early in the career.
25:06The reason Cena named that move that.
25:08Yeah, the F5 obviously has been very devastating.
25:10Changing it to the FU is certainly rubbing salt into big man's wounds.
25:14Now, Lesnar again with a release.
25:16German, that's the second suplex of the night.
25:19This is what I think has pissed off Brock Lesnar.
25:22This constant referral to John Cena as the greatest of all time.
25:26There's a lot of metrics that can go into that claim.
25:29But undeniably, the greatest fighter of all time is Brock Lesnar.
25:35And I think Brock Lesnar understands that he's not going to be in the GOAT conversation
25:38because he had to go conquer other leagues and other sports and then come back.
25:41But he will certainly be in the Mount Rushmore conversation whenever it's done for Brock Lesnar.
25:45And Pat, you used the proper word there, conquer.
25:47Because that is what Lesnar has done at every step of his career, no matter the sport.
25:52And now a kick right to the midsection of Cena.
25:54I mean, just look at his mitts.
25:55I think those are 8X.
25:56And the guy's built to beat the hell out of people.
25:58The grizzly bear paws.
26:00Can he stop staring at Brock Lesnar?
26:02He's like a modern day caveman by choice.
26:05He looks better now than he did 15 years ago.
26:07It's truly phenomenal the amount of work he got to put in to look like that.
26:10Right now he's having his way with a ragdoll.
26:12But John Cena able to drive Lesnar into the corner.
26:15And now John Cena with an opportunity.
26:17Shoulder tackle, bounces off Brock.
26:19Cena again, bounces off Brock.
26:21A third time, Brock still on his feet somehow.
26:26Cena finally drops the beast.
26:31And now Cena with Lesnar on his shoulders, an attitude adjustment.
26:35AA by John.
26:36Straight back up.
26:37But John's got him on his shoulders.
26:39He got another AA by Cena.
26:41Brock is completely rocked here, gonna capitalize John.
26:45Cena's got an opportunity, looking for a third AA to the beast Brock Lesnar.
26:50Cena delivers cover on the beast.
26:55Two.
26:56And Brock kicked out at two.
26:59John Cena's not done.
27:01Brock in.
27:10And Brock did.
27:12F5.
27:13And he's not done yet.
27:16Another F5.
27:21Three AA's, and you bounce back like that.
27:26Special.
27:28There's never been anyone like Brock Lesnar in the history of this business.
27:35In the history of this earth, and there never will be.
27:38And we might be about to witness the C Nation's last stand.
27:43Could be good night here, guys.
27:45Lesnar looking for a third F5 to John Cena, whose body is beaten.
27:51It's bruised.
27:52Welcher forming on his arms and his midsection in his back.
27:57And it's incredible that Cena's had the resilience to last this deep into a matchup that has been almost one-way traffic.
28:07I think Brock's kinda feeling it a little bit here too, didn't you see that in a celebration?
28:11Well, again, two years since he's competed.
28:14Three AA.
28:19You see the condition that Cena's in, starting to become eerily reminiscent of SummerSlam in 2014,
28:26in one of the most lopsided matches of all time, Lesnar slaying Cena just like he's doing tonight.
28:32Complete barbarity and ruthlessness from the Beast Incarnate.
28:38This is now a massacre.
28:40Isn't the Retirement Tour supposed to be a celebration?
28:42Yeah, I don't know why you'd sign up for Brock Lesnar one last time,
28:45if that was supposed to be the case, the entirety of it.
28:48Brock Lesnar is in full euphoria right now.
28:50Walking around, John Cena's lifeless body in the middle of the ring.
28:55Primed and ready to fight to the death, kill or be killed.
28:59The grin on Lesnar's face.
29:01Being tossed like a pizza from Papa John's.
29:03Mocking the over 15,000 here tonight in Indianapolis.
29:07And now Brock again, with Cena on his shoulders.
29:10Lesnar will deliver another F5 to John Cena.
29:14And at some point, ladies and gentlemen, at some point,
29:21our official Dan Engler has gotta get into this thing and just tell Brock to put this
29:26away because this is becoming a massacre.
29:29A career assassination of Cena at the hands of the Beast.
29:33Cover on John.
29:35And Brock Lesnar destroys, and I mean destroys, John Cena tonight.
29:41Here is your winner, Brock Lesnar.
29:47What a beast.
29:50What an absolute species of a man.
29:55You need to explain to someone how the law of the jungle works.
29:59Show them that match.
30:01Barely even resembled athletic competition.
30:04Wow.
30:05That was a hellacious, uncomfortable beat down.
30:09The beast was in prime beast mode tonight.
30:13And what a road bump, Pat, on the retirement tour of John Cena.
30:18Brock Lesnar has been a champion at the UFC.
30:21He could have played in the NFL.
30:23Obviously, he's the NCAA champion.
30:25The ESPN and WWE partnership is kicking off with the most bad-ass human to ever walk
30:34this earth.
30:35Picking up a dub against the GOAT, John Cena.
30:40And the frightening thing for everyone in WWE.
30:43Yourself included.
30:44Is the fact that Brock Lesnar is back in peak and prime condition.
30:50And he's gonna have to fight someone else next.
30:53Hope to dear God, Locker Room, it is not you.
31:08Once again, I do not know why John Cena would sign up for this.
31:11John Cena is defenseless now.
31:13And Brock Lesnar is making his way back into the ring.
31:15And Brock Lesnar now assaulting the official.
31:18First of all, it was commentators last night.
31:21It's officials tonight.
31:22Somebody's gotta throw the damn rule book and find this guy.
31:26And Lesnar not through yet.
31:29Cena can't protect himself.
31:31Another F5.
31:33Everybody out here.
31:37Cena didn't even feel that one.
31:40His body is completely numb already.
31:43And Brock Lesnar doesn't give a damn.
31:47A complete empathy void.
31:50And that is just one of the things that makes this man terrifying.
31:52Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
31:54He's got an empathy void.
31:56He's got an empathy void.
31:57Okay, he took the gloves off.
32:02Zero human weaknesses physically or mentally.
32:09I almost feel like there's a sigh of relief in this arena as Brock Lesnar walks out of the, I know what you say, Cambridge Fieldhouse, right?
32:20I'm not relieved until he has left the entire arena.
32:25Okay.
32:26There's quite an intimidating aura when this man is around.
32:29Well, this was the moment we thought John Cena was about to pull out a miracle.
32:33There was three AAs connecting to Brock Lesnar.
32:37He got a two and a half count, and things went downhill for Cena straight after that.
32:41Brock Lesnar is so quick to his feet, and then this pack.
32:47And there's a jungle cat who has the strength of a thousand elephants.
32:50Look at the look and the intensity in the eyes of Lesnar as he just sends Cena through the mat.
32:58He's been waiting for this moment to come back.
33:01Training, waiting.
33:04Complete destruction, and finally it seemed like Brock Lesnar was satiated, at least for this evening, of course.
33:13Further aftermath came along.
33:15Jan Engler, helpless.
33:17That's not a fighter.
33:18That is an official, completely wiped out with an F5.
33:23And then this, the final statement, the piece de resistance to a beaten, broken John Cena.
33:30Who the hell is gonna step to Brock Lesnar next?
33:33Again, we mentioned this before, a retirement tour is supposed to be a celebration.
33:40This was supposed to be Cena-palooza.
33:42The sign's right there.
33:44Look, I've never been John Cena's biggest fan, I think we know that, but I have all the respect in the world for that man
33:50for stepping up to an unbeatable opponent this evening.
33:55Thank you Cena!
33:57Thank you Cena!
33:59Thank you Cena!
34:00Thank you Cena!
34:02Thank you Cena!
34:06Thank you Cena!
34:08Thank you Cena!

35:21A legendary release fans won't want to miss.
35:23Go to therealamerican.com for details and enter for your chance to win two tickets to Saturday night's main event on November 1st in Salt Lake City.
35:31Here's to you, Hulkster.
35:32Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to propose a toast tonight to the returning Pat McAfee to the booth here tonight with some real American beer.
35:43Nice to have a couple beers with the boys here.
35:45Best job in the world, right?
35:46Just got even better.
35:47Coming up next, guys, we have the Vision and the Usos, and, well, there's a special guest referee.
35:52Let's show you what happened.
36:08I need a referee that's a little bigger, maybe a little stronger, maybe a little referee that knows these four a little bit better.
36:16A special guest referee, Jackie, that might be just a little bit pissed off.
36:21The rules are gonna be a little flimsy here tonight, boys.
36:24So you can do anything you want.
36:25You can beat the hell out of each other for all I care.
36:26But here's the thing, my only job, my only concern is to count the three.
36:30Or if somebody says, uncle, uncle, I give up, then I'll ring the damn bell.
36:34But there's one man who can do this job with two Usos, with two bronze.
36:38There is and can only be one with everybody saying L.A. Night, yeah.
36:51I got the authority.
37:02Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome special guest referee,
37:08Hell Hey Night.
37:12Well, here's the situation, Pat.
37:14L.A. Night doesn't like anybody in this match.
37:16Well, perhaps maybe Jimmy Uso he likes a little bit.
37:19But I think L.A. Night might call this down the middle.
37:22He's wearing khakis, but he's wearing jeans.
37:26He's got a cut off ref shirt, just like Sid Justice back in the day.
37:31Nice reference.
37:33Show my age, maybe.
37:36For your knowledge, brother.
37:42Might be the greatest call of-
37:44Out of Pierce's career.
37:48Well, this match is presented by our partners at Aries, tuning the environment
37:51for peak performance for the first ever EMF friendly showdown.
37:55They're all about helping athletes and fans be their best.
37:58And speaking of peak performance, let's see what these superstars will pull off.
38:02Hey, call it down the middle.
38:03Don't call it down the middle, just have fun in there, L.A.
38:06Why doesn't anybody want to shake my hand?
38:09I will tell you right now, L.A. Night said very specifically,
38:12the rules are gonna be enforced in a flimsy manner tonight.
38:17Whatever that means, we're about to find out.
38:19He's got Timberland boots.
38:21Uso!
38:26Pat, I hope you're in shape, because remember Indianapolis?
38:30This was the first place of Yi!
39:00Oh
39:02All right, cut the music though.
39:29Cut the music, cut the music.
39:32Hey, yo, Indianapolis, are y'all ready to party?
39:36Yeah, yeah.
39:38I said nap time, are y'all ready to get down?
39:41Yeah.
39:44Well, I need something from y'all, check this out.
39:46I need every cell phone in this business, in this building, to pull them on out.
39:52I need every cell phone to turn them flashlights on, pull it on out.
39:57Yeah, because what we about to do tonight, boy, we about to show ESPN how WWE get down.
40:04I said, help me out nap time.
40:08Let's show ESPN how WWE get down.
40:13Hey, J, you ready to party?
40:17You ready to party?
40:20Go ahead and talk to him.
40:22Yeah, I already know.
40:23Four letters, one word.
40:27Well, Wade McAbee's back, which means, well, you know what it means, is on the table.
40:39How could you not be?
40:44What a spectacle.
40:48Pat, I think Wade may be worse than me.
40:49No, I got rhythm.
40:50I've heard that about the Bricks.
40:51I'm doing a double bounce call.
40:52There's no double bounce in the Y.
40:53It's one, straight down, straight back up.
40:54What do you guys got?
40:55You got the Beatles, you got Youngblood, obviously you got Ozzy.
40:56The Rolling Stones, come on.
40:57Okay, but you, I think it missed.
40:58You won.
40:59You won.
41:00You won.
41:01You won.
41:02You won.
41:03You won.
41:04You won.
41:05You won.
41:06You won.
41:07You won.
41:08You won.
41:09You won.
41:10You won.
41:11You won.
41:12You won.
41:13You won.
41:14You won.
41:15You won.
41:16You won.
41:17You won.
41:18You won.
41:19You won.
41:20You won.
41:21My rhythm left me when I became an American citizen.
41:24That's what happened.
41:25Yeah.
41:26What a spectacle at the sold out Gamebridge Fieldhouse.
41:35I'm blown up already.
41:36I'm not in my bed.
41:37Yeah, it's pretty good.
41:40But the heat is always fantastic.
41:43The following is a tag team match scheduled for one fall.
41:54Introducing first, the team of Jimmy and main event Jay, the Usos.
42:04Oh.
42:05Whoa.
42:06He, he, he.
42:07Good to see you man.
42:08Good to see you man.
42:09God I love these things.
42:10Good to see you guys man.
42:12You missed these guys Pat?
42:14Yeah I like.
42:16God, I didn't miss a moment of the yeet.
42:18But Day One's the greatest tag team in the history of this entire industry reunited.
42:25I'm eating at home every show, me and my wife.
42:38I really like the addition of Jimmy to this.
42:50I do, he's put his own personality to it, right?
42:53Yeah, a little fucking rock on you.
42:54I like that.
42:57He was on rhythm, obviously.
43:00Unlike me, you can say it.
43:02You can say it.
43:03I won't be offended.
43:05Try it.
43:06It's not the most of the ocean, it's just signs of time for you, Wade.
43:09And to be clear, I was keeping an eye, everybody in this packed-down arena has been yeeting
43:14except for one man, the guest referee, L.A. Knight.
43:18I tried to give him my phone so he could be a part of the flashback show.
43:22Maybe he's just trying to be professional.
43:25Not show any favoritism to either side in this bout.
43:28Well, we know there's no love-loss between L.A. Knight and Jey Uso.
43:32CFT, his past week, Spear a couple of weeks ago.
43:35But to be clear, I like my reps to be human, so if the entire arena is yeeting, I wouldn't
43:41mind if he kind of caught the bottom a little bit.
43:43I want my referees to be jacked.
43:45And L.A. Knight is certainly jacked.
43:48Yes, he is.
43:49He's got the pythons out here.
43:51I think they're asking for an encore yeet.
44:06Give the people what they want.
44:09They're looking for a yeet-a-palooza, pal.
44:12Like that.
44:13One more time, spin it back.
44:15Ah, you are so bad.
44:22Just eat that, L.A.
44:24That is really riled L.A. Knight, not impressed at all with the encore yeet.
44:34What was enough for L.A. Knight?
44:36I mean, any time you get a second yeet, Sesh, you take that.
44:41Any time.
44:46A buzz kill.
44:47All the dogs are barking in Indianapolis.
45:11And our opponents, accompanied by WWE Hall of Fame.
45:16The Oracle, Paul Heyman, representing the vision,
45:21the team of Big Bronson Reed and Braun Breaker.
45:34Reed and Breaker have been dominating Monday Night Raw.
45:37They've had their run-ins with Jay and Jimmy, of course, Braun and Jay,
45:40with a long history over the past couple of years.
45:43And let's not forget what Bronson Reed did to Roman Reigns,
45:45sent him to the hospital with broken ribs a number of weeks to go.
45:52Dynasty of the Usos against the destruction of the vision, and
45:56immediately a little head-to-head there between Bronson Reed and the special
46:00guest ref, L.A. Knight.
46:02That might not have been smart on the part of Bronson Reed.
46:06And this match is brought to you by Aries.
46:10Get the Aries Effect.
46:12Power, clarity, and focus when it matters most.
46:16And Braun Breaker, Bronson Reed have been extremely focused since joining forces with
46:20Seth Rollins and, of course, the Oracle, Paul Heyman.
46:24And the advocate.
46:25And I'll tell you what, this city of Indianapolis has been a great city for Jey Uso.
46:30Remember what he did here back in February, Pat, when he won the Royal Rumble to go on to main event WrestleMania.
46:37Right down the road at Lucas Oil Stadium, I think it was 60,000-plus.
46:41Jey Uso, two years ago when the undisputed tag team titles with Cody Rhodes in this city.
46:49And three years ago, the Usos became one of the all-time great tag teams.
46:54When they beat the New Day, they would go on to hold those titles for a record 622 days.
47:01But, Pat, for the first time in two years, the Usos are teaming in a traditional tag team match.
47:09It's an honor to see Hall of Famers for sure do battle live here in Indianapolis.
47:15The Usos being back is great for everybody that has eyes.
47:19You got Paul Heyman sitting right in front of me, though.
47:21You have to assume that Bronson and Braun Breaker are gonna have a plan,
47:24because this man's brain is never-ending.
47:26The 330-pounder, the ostilla, Bronson Reed, who is so dominant, Wade.
47:31Yes, he is, and we see that right off the bat, the dynasty of the Usos, this legendary tag team.
47:38And the question is, is that dynasty gonna fade tonight with these new vicious
47:43young kids on the block from the vision?
47:46Jey Uso delivers a kick to the ear of Bronson Reed.
47:49And Jey makes a tag, and here comes Jimmy.
47:51The Usos have been to the mountaintop, Bronson and Braun trying to get there.
47:55And double team from the Usos.
47:57Right off the bat you see it's power versus movement.
48:00And it's the movement of the Usos that's winning out early here.
48:04Double team again.
48:07This day one chemistry that these Usos have.
48:10Devastating.
48:13Eight time tag team champions, but that back elbow by Big Bronson Reed.
48:20All it takes when you're that colossal human being with so much mal intent.
48:26One shot wipes an opponent out.
48:28Now the unpredictable, badass, Braun Breaker into the ring.
48:33And Pat, what an athlete.
48:35Yeah, an absolute freak show whenever it comes to athleticism and explosiveness.
48:39And the dogs are barking for him as soon as he hopped in between the ropes here.
48:43So Paul Heyman's really cultivated this lunatic streak within Braun Breaker and
48:48laser focused it to where he can maximize damage on opponents.
48:53Yeah, Breaker momentarily getting in the face of our special guest referee LA Knight
48:57as Bronson Reed now goes outside the ring.
49:00And Reed gonna drag out a steel chair.
49:04What's the ref doing?
49:06The ref has his back turned by Braun Breaker.
49:08Yeah.
49:09He got eyes in the back of his head.
49:11Yeah.
49:12And a kick right to the end section by Jimmy.
49:16And now will Jimmy Uso.
49:18He's right there, Jimmy.
49:21He's not there anymore, Jimmy.
49:22He's back and allowing Jimmy Uso to use the steel chair.
49:26Jimmy Uso is the one person that LA Knight likes and, God.
49:31And Breaker with a clubbing blow back to the, of the neck now.
49:35Jey Uso, top rope.
49:37Here comes Vader back.
49:38Jey Uso taking out the bronze.
49:40You saw right off the bat the flimsy enforcement of the rule book by the referee LA Knight.
49:46Perhaps all bets are off now.
49:49Well, that's the effectiveness of the Usos pays off.
49:52As Bronson and Braun tried to fight with Jimmy, Jey Uso took to the sky.
49:56Right from the start going high risk.
49:59Was Jey Uso connecting there?
50:03Now we got a brawl on the wall, a brawl in the ring.
50:08Well, we figured Wade that LA Knight would give a lot of leeway in this matchup tonight.
50:14We didn't care about any of these guys.
50:17Leeway has been given to Jimmy Uso and Jimmy Uso alone thus far.
50:23Another chop by Jimmy to read.
50:26Jimmy ripped into the ropes.
50:28This is wildly with the clothesline.
50:30And Breaker though, pulls the top rope down and it drops Jimmy to the floor.
50:34And now that sick smile on the face of Braun Breaker, who I've said on a number of occasions,
50:39the fly short of a happy meal.
50:41Yeah, but he also grew up in a family of tag team greatness.
50:44You should say that to his face, Michael Coleman, and see what happens.
50:48I'm gonna tell him right now actually.
50:49I'm sure he will.
50:50Cool, cool, cool.
50:51Oh God.
50:52Oh no, look out.
50:53Look at a little speed check action right here.
50:55Jimmy struggling to his feet.
50:56Here comes Braun Breaker.
50:58Oh, and what a shoulder tackle!
51:00Launching himself into the air like a cruise missile.
51:05Speed and explosivity colliding with the frame of Jimmy Uso.
51:12Take a look at that.
51:14You're talking about leaping 15 feet just with the greatest of ease,
51:18with the worst of intentions.
51:19It's unfathomable athleticism.
51:22What's amazing is seeing the growth and the maturation.
51:25Here's the cover now.
51:26I thought he was gonna cover, but Breaker gonna do some more damage.
51:29Yeah, he's not stupid.
51:30He knows full well you're not gonna keep a competitor like Jimmy Uso down that easily.
51:34You have the advantage.
51:35What's this?
51:36Maximize it down.
51:37No!
51:39Cover!
51:40And somehow Jimmy Uso kicked out, but the point it was making way to,
51:44under the tutelage of Heyman and Rollins,
51:46it's amazing seeing the growth to Breaker read over the past couple of months.
51:50That's exactly what it is.
51:51It's taking two rough diamonds with all the potential in the world,
51:55and someone like Paul Heyman can guide them to the very top.
51:58Alone, they would get there, it would take them ten years.
52:01With Heyman, it takes about one year.
52:03And now Bronson Reed with a steel chair, and he's gonna deliver a shot to the spine.
52:07I mean, you gotta give LA Knight credit.
52:09He let Jimmy get away with it.
52:10You gotta let Bronson get away with it as well.
52:13Cool.
52:14I mean, I guess this is effectively a no-holds-bar brawl at this point.
52:19The referee, LA Knight, is not gonna disqualify anyone for using chairs,
52:23then what is he gonna disqualify them for?
52:25Oh, great point, Wade.
52:28How about LA Knight?
52:29How do you feel about tables?
52:31Cuz we might slim-jim snap into one of those as well.
52:34I'm not sure if you're noticing this, but Jimmy Uso is really favoring his left knee.
52:38Oh, Bronson Reed said, to hell with you, Indianapolis.
52:42And that was dangerous by Reed because Jimmy Uso was left all alone.
52:46He's clearly now the wounded duck on the Uso team.
52:49About to get a little carried away there.
52:51Was Bronson Reed, had an opportunity to tag.
52:55I think Paul Heyman's gone over there and just refocused Bronson Reed.
52:59Again, you made the point earlier that LA Knight doesn't really like anyone in this matchup.
53:04He doesn't care if they beat the hell out of each other.
53:06And that is what he is allowing them to do.
53:08Double-teamed by Breaker and Reed.
53:12Breaker and Reed, since the last time I had a chance to see him,
53:15very much on the same page, which comes together with Paul Heyman's plan,
53:19the vision, seeing the things the same way.
53:22And speaking of vision, Pat, you've had a vision for a couple of years
53:25about the superstardom that awaits Ron Breaker.
53:29Absolutely.
53:30As soon as you have eyes on him, back whenever he was playing football,
53:32he was more explosive than everybody else on the field.
53:34Now whenever he comes here, he's running through people at 25 miles an hour.
53:38You had him in the Thunderdome at one point, didn't you?
53:40Man, he sawed one of my guys, D.Va, right in half.
53:43That's what he does.
53:44Listen, so explosive, so powerful.
53:46He obviously grew up in the business.
53:48Great suplex by Breaker.
53:50He has everything you need.
53:52A cover and a kick out at one.
53:54He actually just flipped himself off into a push-up in the middle of the ring.
53:57Well, that's that moxie confidence that you have whenever he grew up in this thing.
54:00Well, it's been a procession thus far for Brom Breaker.
54:03He's gotta stay warm.
54:04He simply hasn't had to get out of first gear.
54:07Once Jimmy Uso was taken down, it has been a walk in the park for the vision.
54:12I didn't even think about the push-ups maybe being a warm-up in the middle of a match.
54:15And a senton by the Auszilla, 330 pounds.
54:20And again, we cannot forget what Bronson Reed did to Roman Reigns a number of weeks back.
54:26Or anybody else.
54:27Bronson Reed's body is very destructive.
54:29I mean, it breaks bones.
54:30It crushes souls.
54:31A huge part of the motivation for the Usos is to try and avenge the Tribal Chief.
54:37And he was taken out by these two.
54:41It's becoming increasingly more difficult to stop Reed and Breaker.
54:48And Jimmy Uso buys himself an opening here.
54:51That's one way to do it.
54:52Crane him first into a steel chair with all the momentum after hitting the ropes.
54:57Bronson Reed in desperate need of a tag here.
54:59And Jimmy inching closer.
55:01Jimmy trying to get to the corner, trying to make a tag.
55:03Braun Breaker's into the ring.
55:04And so quick and went for the cheap shot and connected.
55:08Now outside the ring, Braun Breaker going right after main event Jey Uso.
55:12Driving him into the steps.
55:14And this Breaker, he's completely out of control.
55:17That's exactly what you need if you're Paul Heyman and the vision.
55:20Boom!
55:21Straight into those upright legs on that steel chair.
55:24Well, Pat, what Breaker creates is chaos, right?
55:27Absolutely.
55:28So destructive, so chaotic, so unpredictable, so powerful.
55:32And now, well, you mentioned the-
55:34So many problems.
55:35Hall of Fame pedigree of the Steiners.
55:38Braun Breaker!
55:40Cover by Braun, isn't it enough to knock off the Usos here?
55:45And Jimmy somehow kicks out.
55:47Well, we know Jimmy Uso is double tough, and he had to be there.
55:51He has taken so much abuse in this match.
55:53Wait up.
55:54Slow.
55:55That was pretty good count by LA Knight actually.
55:58Get in there and do it better.
56:00Braun Breaker is just a confrontational intimidator.
56:04I just don't think that's gonna work against LA Knight.
56:07A lot of referees it will work with, not this one.
56:10Call it like it is, he's got an anger issue.
56:12It is a confrontation business though.
56:14He can get it all lined up.
56:17And Bronson right to the senton again.
56:19Jimmy able to roll out of harm's way.
56:20The problem is, his brother, his partner, Jey Uso, not on the apron for a tag,
56:24after being ripped into the steps.
56:26Good tag team wrestling here for the division actually.
56:30Eliminate one of the partners.
56:32Oh!
56:33Jimmy using his quickness, and Bronson Reed goes face first into the steel steps,
56:37and he's in trouble.
56:38Need some seed, Bronson Reed.
56:40Right into the chair.
56:41The lights are on for Bronson Reed, but no one is home right now.
56:45Again, head first into the steel.
56:47Here's your chance, Jimmy.
56:48Has to be now or never.
56:50Jey's back.
56:51And Jey back up on the apron in position to make a tag,
56:54if Jimmy can make it to his brother.
56:56Jimmy gets there.
57:01Breaker's legal as well, and main event Jey Uso.
57:04Jey Uso, a ton of history of brawn breaker over the Intercontinental Championship
57:08over the past few years, and now battling out in tag team action.
57:12Jimmy!
57:15Silky smooth.
57:16Bang!
57:17Jey Uso hitting those highs that took him all the way to win the Royal Rumble,
57:24and indeed the World Heavyweight Championship.
57:28Jey Uso, Jey Uso down!
57:32And now panel homage to the late great Umaga.
57:37And also of course his father, Rikishi.
57:40And now Jey launched out to the apron by Braun.
57:44Oh, caught Braun with a big kick.
57:46And now Jey Uso quickly headed up to the top rope.
57:48Main event gonna fly.
57:49Cross body, lateral press.
57:51Hooks the leg on Breaker, who kicks it too.
57:53Breaker simply is rocked right now.
57:56Wobbled, has no clue where he's at.
57:58And if Jey Uso can pick up the pace here, victory is imminent.
58:03And again, Pat, that was just a, I believe a very fair count by a rep in LA Knight.
58:08Are we gonna get a table out here?
58:17Wrestle Palooza!
58:19Ask and ye shall receive Indianapolis!
58:24Has become Table Palooza because of the Uso's.
58:27They're one of the all-time great tag teams, made a living using tables.
58:32Bummery and D-Bomb.
58:34From behind now, Bronson Reed and Braun Breaker back into the fridge.
58:39That's what we're setting up a table.
58:40It takes so long that two top athletes like Breaker and Reed just bounce back.
58:45Why are you yelling at me?
58:46Everyone yells at you, Cole.
58:47Heyman is screaming at me about LA Knight allowing all this stuff to happen in this matchup.
58:53So why is he letting tables out here?
58:58Paul Heyman's about to burst a blood vessel.
59:00Says Paul Heyman, yeah, right, Paul.
59:04Well, these are his charges.
59:06This is the-
