00:05I think, you know, I've been doing a really good job with my team for the past couple of years
00:10and I'm really, really happy to see it paying off.
00:13And, you know, I'm really enjoying tennis right now and I think it's pretty visible.
00:18So I just, yeah, you know, it's also a good bonus to have this kind of week playing for the country
00:26and playing with the girls. So, yeah, it's, you know, it's a good feeling.
00:32And, you know, I want to keep having this feeling regardless of the results of my matches.
00:37Great. And talk me through the match you just had. Obviously, you look like you're in great form.
00:42Yeah, well, like I said, you know, it's the work that we're doing is paying off.
00:47I'm not here with my team. Nobody is with me. So it's a little bit more lonely this week.
00:52But, you know, I have girls that I'm sharing the time with and, yeah, it's great atmosphere.
00:59And obviously it helps. There is also, we have a bunch of coaches who are helping.
01:03And, yeah, it's, you know, I feel good and, you know, I'm just, you know, honestly just, you know, happy to be here.
01:13And that match specifically, talk me through what happened in your opinion from your side.
01:18Well, I played her twice before and, you know, this match was not really a surprise for me because the match before was the first time I faced Jessica.
01:26So, you know, it's a little bit different feeling going into the match.
01:30And, you know, I think Elisabetta had a really, really difficult match three days ago.
01:36And I felt that she's going to fight until the end because she had an amazing comeback in the previous match.
01:43But, you know, I just try to, you know, put pressure all the time and, you know, make her feel like, you know, she doesn't really have that much time like she wants.
01:52And, yeah, we had a good tactic and it worked out and, you know, it was a good match.
01:59And, yeah, at the end there, I think we sense a bit of emotion from you.
02:02It obviously means a lot for you to be here and be representing your nation.
02:06Well, for sure, and especially at the times that we are having right now, you know, we are a little bit ahead of time here from Ukraine.
02:14So when I wake up in the morning, it's always like, as I wake up, there is some missiles, drones flying over all the cities.
02:21And, you know, just to, you know, live in this time and being able to bring this, you know, this, you know, bring this emotions and bring this to people is, you know, it's really priceless.
02:34And, you know, singing anthem every day and before our matches and, you know, see our flag and really, really represent our country on the highest stages of my profession is, you know, is the greatest honor.
02:48And obviously the emotions are there and I think all the girls feel it too.
