00:00Yeah, I mean, impressive pictures, you know, it looks like they really pulled out all the stops.
00:05We've been told it was the largest military parade for a state visit in living memory.
00:08Obviously a huge security operation. And then yesterday it was all about those gun salutes.
00:13There were the mounted horses, the bagpipes, the glittering dinner, the jewels, the tiaras.
00:18How do you think President Trump likes the hospitality laid on by King Charles?
00:23I think it's showing respect to the leader of the free world. And we are the you know, our language in the United States came from from England.
00:33Billions of people around the world speak English because of the people of Great Britain.
00:38And so it was a wonderful, I think, acknowledgement of our shared foundation, our shared friendship.
00:44It is a special relationship, even though we we did have a revolution and break off.
00:49Certainly we are very, very close. And I think it's more than just language.
00:54And you saw the horse-drawn carriages, the beautiful dinner last night where His Majesty King Charles did a beautiful toast, as did President Trump.
01:04Two great leaders and Keir Starmer really stepping up.
01:07He may be a Labour leader, but he can get the deal done. And he did. So it's exciting.
01:12I have to just say, as a personal aside, when I became the U.S. ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark, I was able to ride in a gold carriage with white horses, with the footmen.
01:24And it was extraordinary in the 21st century, a young woman from Pennsylvania being able to ride like this.
01:31Well, this is President Trump in that horse-drawn carriage yesterday with his beautiful First Lady Melania Trump.
01:37And there they were in that horse-drawn carriage. It is, for an American, a pinch-me moment, no matter who you are.
