00:13claims that Brigitte was born male and is secretly someone named Jean-Michel Trognon,

00:22Macron's lawyer, Tom Clare, said they'll submit scientific and photographic evidence
00:27including photos of Brigitte during pregnancy and expert testimony to demonstrate fully,
00:32both generically and specifically, that these allegations are false.
00:36Owens, however, has been doubling down, even saying in March 2024 that she'll stake her entire
00:42professional reputation on her claims. French quotes have already dealt with these rumours before.
00:47Brigitte won a defamation suit in 2021, but Emmanuel Macron himself has weighed in,
00:52calling the attacks disgusting, false and deeply misogynistic.
00:56Further adding that his wife should not have to endure such humiliation in the public eye.
