00:00We asked her to buy a fancy seat that she could buy.
00:11Hello, I'm Fatima Evanto and I'm the owner of Virginia's Heritage Bicycle.
00:18Actually, we started online on December 2021.
00:28So, it was two months after my tatay passed away.
00:32So, actually everything was unexpected.
00:36So, we just started here.
00:39Not mainly because of the profit but because we want to survive that dark moment of our lives.
00:47So, when my dad passed away, I was working in Manila.
00:52So, at that time, my mother didn't know my mother in Laguna since they were only two in Laguna.
01:00At that time, I really needed to leave my career in Manila and to move back in Laguna
01:07so that I could be with my mother during the trying times.
01:12So, there was no plan at all.
01:15I didn't know what to do in Laguna.
01:19But, I pulled the trigger.
01:22Eventually, we were in Laguna and I needed some hobby or something that could comfort my mom during the trying times.
01:35Now, I didn't know my dad.
01:36So, cooking was really the past time.
01:40So, that was the inspiration for me.
01:44Aside from the dream of my father then,
01:46I wanted to go to a restaurant eventually.
01:49But, I didn't know what to do.
01:51It was really the motivation for me to start the Virginia Heritage Bicycle.
01:57It's a legacy to honor my father.
02:30And, nothing fancy, nothing grand.
02:32As in, nakasupot tang siya, brown paper bag.
02:35So, yun talaga yung past time nung Maccobist Tower.
02:39And, even those times, those early times, ano na talaga.
02:48Pero, ano talaga.
02:50Nilala ko nga namin siya.
02:51Parang tayo gayo pa yung pansit niya.
02:53Na talagang, ano, mapakabili ka talaga.
02:56Yun yung times na yun.
02:57So, she offered Dihong Gisado, Cantong Gisado, and Sotanghon.
03:02Yun palang.
03:07We opened our first branch seven months after namin mag-launch online.
03:16So, it was July 2022.
03:19So, we opened our first branch in Calamba, Laguna.
03:23Currently, we have four branches.
03:26So, the first branch was in Calamba.
03:28And then, second here in Binian.
03:30Third in Santa Rao, Laguna.
03:32And the fourth one, and duly opened lang po, is in Alabang.
03:36For the manpower across all branches.
03:45And, kasama na yung, ano namin, sa komisari.
03:49We have pili komisari kasa sapahay.
03:51So, I think it's more or less 20 to 30 staffs that we have right now.
03:56For the specialty, I mentioned earlier ka na it's Bihong Gisado.
04:11Actually, tinabalikan siya because wala namang something kakaiba.
04:19And the second one, ito yung nilagyan namin ng twist to cater to the modern generation.
04:24So, we have the crispy palabok.
04:26So, it's a fried noodles with the classic savory palabok sauce.
04:40So, for the tips ako, number one talaga.
04:44First and foremost, kailangan you have to believe in your idea.
04:47You have to believe that you have the competitive advantage.
04:56Kailangan you have the grit.
05:00And for the tips, kapag may mga challenges, you just have to be, alam mo yun,
05:24So, kailangan mo siyang harapi.
05:26Hindi ka pwedeng mag-book mo, kasi the more na mag-book po ka,
05:29na mas matagal, the more na magsasuffer yung negosyo.
05:32You should try our product because first, it's made with real mother's love.
05:52Actually, most of the menus, even yung mga lutong ulam, that's why we called it lutong nanay eh.
06:16And aside from that, we have not just the OGs, meron kami originals,
06:22meron-meron kami in-innovate na product that could cater to modern balance ng mga teens.
06:28So, actually, who would have thought that favorite ng mga teens is crispy palabok?
06:39Pero, maraming mga millennials who would like to visit us and try the crispy palabok.
06:44And, pinabalik-balikan talaga nila.
06:47Please do visit our branches.
06:58We have a first branch naman is in Calamba, Laguna.
07:05And, the second one, here in Binyan, Laguna.
07:07So, it's along the Canlalay.
07:09It's along Manila, South Road lang, along the highway.
07:12And, the third one, we have in Santa Rosa.
07:15Yan.
07:16So, in Tagapo area, Market Drive.
07:18So, dun na siya makita in front of your code.
07:21Yan.
07:22Tapos, if you're here in NCR, mayroon ang nearest branch namin.
07:27It's in Alabang area, in Montilupa.
07:29So, it's beside Lakewood School of Alabang.
07:32So, we have enormous parking there.
07:35So, you could also have events and celebrations with the family.
07:40Ayan.
07:41For our social media account, we have Facebook.
07:43Please follow us, Virginia's Heritage Panseet Cuisine.
07:47And, for our TikTok, Virginia's Heritage Panseet.
07:50Ayan.
07:51So, yun.
08:17And, Virginia's Heritage Panseet Cuisine.
08:19Ayan.
08:20So, a message po sa lahat ng gustong mag-quit up ng business.
08:25You have to put your heart into it.
08:28You have to have a grit and determination.
08:31Para kahit anong challenges yung dumatini sa'yo,
08:34kaya mo siyang ilaban at panindigan hanggang sa huli.
