00:00During an ODI series, you slashed Kohli and he cheekily replied via the stump mic.

00:05What was going on your head then?

00:08Yeah, look, I was definitely laughing.

00:10You know, I'm somebody that likes to have a clever word or two with the opposition.

00:14And like I mentioned, you know, Virat and I, we've got a good relationship.

00:19You know, on the field, whenever we've played against each other,

00:22he's somebody that likes to play aggressively and also show aggression towards opposition.

00:28And I'm the same.

00:29So, you know, people might see us having a go at each other on the field.

00:33But, you know, off the field, we have a great relationship.

00:36And, you know, on the field, those are the things that count.

00:39And I think I was facing Kuldeep or somebody else that was a spinner.

00:45And I came out to bat with a chess pad on.

00:47So he was, you know, teasing me and saying,

00:49why do I have a chess pad on when I'm facing a spinner?

00:53But I'm not crazy because I think it was either just with Bumro or another fast bowler

00:58that still had some overs left.

01:00And there's no way that I was going to face them without a chess pad.

01:03So, yeah, it's, you know, just a bit of jokes and a bit of banter.

01:07Yeah, if you look back, whenever Virat and I have played against each other,

01:12we've always been aggressive towards each other.

01:16But that's only on the field because off the field, we have a great relationship.

01:20And, you know, it's nice to play hard competitive cricket against your friends.
