06:05I am going to go straight across to my colleague Ankit, getting in those details from the capital city of Dehradun at this point in time.
06:18Dehradun has been badly hit.
06:20Some parts of it, Ankit, just do give us an overview of the current situation, which are the worst affected areas.
06:25What's the advisory for the people living there?
06:29Well, Seha, we are reporting from Setsudara area.
06:32And you can see behind me, the visuals are redorous.
06:35And you can see that the river, kind of river, and the river drains are still flowing through the roads of Setsudara.
06:44While the main Setsudara river is still gushing in spade to the lower areas.
06:49And it has caused tremendous devastation in Setsudara area.
06:53Many shops have been collapsed.
06:55The vehicles were swept away.
06:57People are praying for relief.
07:00And more than 10 to 15 persons are still missing.
07:05However, the authorities are claiming that they have been located and will soon be shifted to the safer areas.
07:11However, the main impact area is where we are reporting from.
07:16And there were many shops that came in the impact of Setsudara river and were collapsed last night when, after heavy rainfall, calamity struck from the Kaligarh hill area.
07:29And according to the locals, there were two instances of cloudburst which has wrecked havoc in Setsudara.
07:37While in other areas of Deradun, like Maldevka, IT Park, and the outskirts of Deradun, like Sehaspur, Vikas Nagar area, are also facing the devastation.
07:47The calamity has struck Deradun badly and it was the time when people were expecting that the monsoon will come to its withdrawal as IMD had forecasted that on 30th September, the monsoon will withdraw completely from Uttarakhand and coming from Uttarkashi to Chamuli.
08:05Now it has shifted to Deradun today, some kind of reprise that the sunbeam is visible, the sun has popped out of the clouds and the kind of relief before people were expecting that the rain should stop so that the relief and rescue work can be carried on is now going to continue without any hindrance.
08:27However, the muck lying over in the area, let me show you some visuals, you can see that the whole area has turned into a drain right now and you can see the car is completely buried under the rubbles and muck.
08:43You can see these horrendous visuals over here and the shops are closed.
08:48This was the area where people used to flock in large numbers and took leisure at Sertsidara.
08:55Sertsidara river is also known for its scenic view and one of the major picnic spots of Deradun and it is now facing the brunt of nature today.
09:05Ankit, getting in those details at this point in time, this picture speaking volumes of how difficult the situation is right now as we speak in Deradun, what about the other areas in this region, in the state essentially in Uttarakhand?
09:21Apart from Deradun, which are the worst affected areas, Ankit?
09:24Well, Rishikej has also been facing the brunt of nature's fury and the Chandra Baga river is flowing in spate and we have some people over here as well.
09:36They are saying that their friends were washed away and they are looking for his friends.
09:43My name is Ankit, I have come from the Malsi area of Deradun.
09:46My friends have come with me to celebrate the birthday and we are having dinner and my seven friends have been washed away with the flood and tree logs and mud and stones have come over the area and we have run from there.
09:58I have requested them to run with me but they have, they thought that I have been kidding.
10:04So they haven't run with me.
10:05Where were you staying?
