00:41first take the parallel that you can put up with a verse on the screen. Let's all read
00:47together. Without faith, it is not possible to be done. Hebrews 11, 6.
00:55All right, so faith is something that we talk about a lot nowadays, but faith is also something
01:05that even if we can't necessarily put a finger on, like, what is faith? Is faith this or that
01:12or whatever? There is something to be said about this verse that without faith, it is impossible
01:18to please God. There is a specific faith that we want to highlight for us. Who is the one
01:25in whom we should place our faith and trust and believe in? What is his name? God. God
01:32and specifically, God has a son, and his son is named? Jesus. Now, without that faith, it's
01:40impossible to please God. Now, this is important for us because it isn't just faith like believing
01:46in Jesus here, but pleasing God outside and with our lives, the way we demonstrate or show
01:54that faith. What is, let's think of a couple of ways. What's one way that you can show that
02:00you please God? There you go. Thank you for the assist, whoever gave that assist. Obedience.
02:15Obedience. Yes, obedience. Say again. Reading your Bible, which is part of obedience. And not
02:22just reading your Bible, but there's that old song that when we read our Bible, we also do
02:27what? Pray every day and you grow, grow, grow. Yeah, it's a very simple lesson I want
02:32to give you, the one child that is here today. But also, to all of us who are the children
02:37of the Most High God by faith in Jesus Christ. Without faith, it is impossible to please God.
02:43And why wouldn't you want to please God? You want to please Mommy, right? You want to make
02:48sure that Mommy is pleased with you? How do you, whoops, she was slain in the spirit. How do
02:56you, how do you show, how do you show, or how do you please Mommy? What are the things you
03:02do to please Mommy? Obey. Also obey. Like, what's one thing you did to please Mommy? Memorize.

03:33things. So if we want to please our parents, I think more so than anything else, if we want
03:37to please our parents, how much more do we want to please God? And without faith, it is
