00:00Hey guys, this is your host. Today we will read the story of the hen that laid golden eggs.
00:08So let's begin. Once upon a time, there lived a poor farmer and his wife. They had everything they
00:14needed, but they had very little extra money. The farmer and his wife weren't lazy. They worked
00:21really hard from morning till night, but they always had just enough money to get by. They

01:01he thought it was a small ball. But as he moved it with his foot, he realized it was actually an egg.
01:06It wasn't any ordinary egg. It was made of pure gold. Wow, the farmer said, surprised. He carefully
01:14picked up the golden egg and put it in his pocket. Then he looked around to see if anyone else had found
01:19anything like it. But all the other hens were just laying regular eggs. The farmer couldn't believe
01:25his eyes. He couldn't remember buying a golden hen or seeing one hatch. He looked at the egg again.
01:31It was perfectly round and smooth, just like a real egg, only much heavier and made of solid gold.

03:57The farmer and his wife started thinking about how much money they could get if they had more golden
04:01eggs. They thought about killing the hen and making jewelry out of her feathers. But they knew this
04:07wouldn't bring them any gold. Then they had an evil plan. They wanted to open the hen and see how many
04:13golden eggs were inside her. Every morning, the farmer and his wife would rush to the chicken coop to
04:18collect the golden egg. They kept counting the gold and planning to kill the hen. Finally, after
04:24collecting dozens of golden eggs, they decided to kill the hen. The farmer took the sharpest knife he
04:29could find. He was ready to end the hen's life so he could get more golden eggs. The hen clucked sadly
04:36as the farmer approached her. She must have known that something bad was going to happen to her.
04:41With a quick movement, the farmer cut open the hen's body. The farmer and his wife looked inside.
04:46But instead of finding many golden eggs, they found a normal chicken. There were no golden eggs anywhere.
04:52The farmer and his wife couldn't believe what they were seeing. All this time, they had been collecting
04:57one egg a day. But inside the hen, there was nothing. The hen was just like any other chicken.
05:04The farmer and his wife felt awful. They had been so greedy that they killed the hen and didn't even
05:10get anything in return. After this, the farmer and his wife had to go back to their old life.

05:23they went to the chicken coop. But the golden hen was gone. They only had the memory of the golden eggs
