00:00I've been asked this question an awful lot lately. Why did I move from the UK to Zimbabwe?
00:03And ignore the red face, I microneedled today. But if you want microneedling doing, I do it.
00:08Moving on to why we moved from the UK to Zimbabwe. My husband worked really long hours,
00:12I had a business called Nat's Kitchen, which was very busy, and we were just working, working,
00:17working, working. And when we wasn't working, we were cleaning, cooking, keeping on top of
00:22household chores. All of that alongside all of the rising bills that we had to pay was just a
00:27struggle. We're also missing so much time with our kids. I'll drop to school, go to my bakery,
00:32work all day, pick them up from school, take them back to the bakery with me, make them do their
00:36homework there. And the time we got home, it was bath time, bedtime, and then we were finished.
00:40It was a stressful way of life. Also, the weather didn't help either. And that's when we approached
00:44the subject of moving to Zimbabwe. I've just been growing up here, by the way, and he always said
00:48that he had the best childhood. Playing outside every day, going to the lake, being very sociable.
00:52All of his family is still here as well, and the house that we're living in is actually the house
00:56that he grew up in. So when we decided to move, I sold my business. We sold our forever home. That
01:00was the part that hurt the most, because in my mind, that was it for us. That was our house. But
01:05we needed the money to move over here. We got rid of a lot of our stuff, but then we also put a lot
01:09of our stuff on a shipping container and shipped it over here. So now we're here. We've been here
01:13about a year and a half now. The kids go to school here. We have an amazing life. We have a lot
01:19more free time. The food is fresh. The weather is amazing. The kids are playing outside like we wanted
01:23them too. So for us as a family, we definitely did the right thing.
