00:38which has in fact become the major question of the hour with regards to this very case
00:44that why were they taken to a 19km away hospital in GTP Nagar
00:51when the accident took place in southwest Delhi in Dholakuan.

01:32Well, yes, Gaganpreet has formally been taken into custody by the Delhi police.
01:40We are trailing the vehicle in which she is being taken right now.

01:46This is the southwest district police who is investigating the case right now
01:50and they have officially taken Gaganpreet into custody.
01:54We did see that she stepped out of the hospital.
01:57Her husband who was also present in that accident is still undergoing treatment is what we are being told
02:05but she was discharged today and as we have been reporting since morning
02:08the moments after she was discharged she was taken into custody by the Delhi police's southwest district
02:16and these are the visuals that we are getting of the police vehicle that is taking Gaganpreet
02:22where she will have to face interrogation.
02:25The main question, why was a hospital 19 kilometers away chosen by the accused?
02:33Absolutely, those are the questions that are being asked Shriya at this given point.
02:38If we are to understand the charges that has been, you know, slapped against Gaganpreet at this given point

02:54Well, the initial investigation was as per the hit and drive case
03:00but because this matter also pertained to the fact that there was a destruction of evidence
03:07that was also done because remember that is the accusation that came in from the family members
03:11and also there is no plausible reason why a hospital 19 kilometers away was taken
03:16and that is the reason we are seeing the destruction of evidence charges being added
03:20included that death by negligence.
03:23As we talk, the Delhi police vehicle on which Gaganpreet is aboard is right now being taken to the southwest district.

03:37where Gaganpreet will officially be questioned by the Delhi police
03:41and the interrogation will largely pertain on why a hospital 19 kilometers away from the accident spot
03:48was chosen for giving the first aid to the victims
03:52because somewhere down the line as the victim's family has suggested
03:56that the collision could have been an accident
03:58but what transpired was clearly a case of murder

05:41you can take someone to the Safdarjung hospital

05:49why they would be taking someone so far away
05:53it is something which is to be investigated right now
