City enjoyed another brilliant derby day victory as goals from Phil Foden and two from Erling Haaland saw us triumph 3-0 over Manchester United!

Foden scored a superb header to put us ahead in the 18th minute rounding off the first of two assists from Jeremy Doku. City’s Belgian winger then played in Haaland for City’s second, before the striker from his own half to score our third – also hitting the post in between.

00:00Brand new goalkeeper, Gigi Donnarumma, a reigning European champion, so farewell Aderson, James Trafford onto the bench.
00:08John Stones doesn't make it, Josko Bardiol plays his first game of the season, Kusanov and O'Reilly the fullbacks.
00:15It's the same midfielders at Brighton a fortnight back, first Hurim chooses not to twist, instead he sticks for now with Altai, to whose homeland of Turkey Andrea Nana has departed.
00:25The back three has remained unchanged since day one, Matthijs De Ligt has played every minute so far.
00:31It's Rukate for Casemiro in midfield, Dorghu for Dallo on the left, and on the right Nusayo Majrawi for Ahmad, who with Matthias Cunha.
00:40For Manchester City, for Manchester United, and it feels like it might be that sort of game as well here at the Etihad for Southampton.
00:48Both teams have match winners, both teams have new faces. Let's see how the 197th Manchester derby pans out with our match commentators, Gary Neville, alongside Peter Drury.
01:02Good afternoon to you, Peter.
01:03Good afternoon, thank you. And on what is a profoundly sad day for this great sporting city, here is hoping for a celebration of Manchester,
01:13at its proud and pugnacious best. The raucous, crackling partisanship, the quick and pulsed, the ever-present certainties of Derby Day.
01:23Except that this time, nobody on either side is quite so sure. A month in, just a single win each.
01:31No question, they both need it, but today, you just don't know. Midfield.
01:36Yeah, looking at both holding midfield players, and he's been the king of that role for the last four or five years.
01:42So by Manchester United, they've had good success here over the last seven or eight years.
01:46He's been through counter-attack, and today they've played Diallo and Umbermo, and they'll be a real threat.
01:51And he's going to have to come to terms with it. He's very...
01:54He's just back into his recovery, so it'll be a challenge for him.
01:57Well, some simply awful news broke at lunchtime today, that world champion boxer Ricky Hatton has died at the age of 46.
02:12Beyond his extraordinary career in the ring, beyond his reputation as a genuine man of the people,
02:17he was, of course, heart on sleeve, undiluted fan of Manchester City, and a proud Mancunian.
02:27The divide, Gary, from one proud Mancunian on behalf of another.
02:33Yeah, champion boxer, but also a champion for his city, a champion for his country, and shocking, devastating news,
02:41and send all our love to his family.
02:43The divide, the body's heavy.
02:58For both sides, things aren't quite where they need to be.
03:03Last year, no question, fell short of vintage.
03:06For Pep, two defeats.
