00:00About 200 villagers are left stranded after the only bridge which is under construction,
00:07linking Kampung Kaiduan in Sabah to the main road, collapsed on Saturday night due to strong
00:12currents and debris. Erosion and damage had been visible in recent days before the low-level
00:18crossing gave way at 9pm. The bridge, which is nearing completion, had connected Kampung Kaiduan
00:25and Kampung Biswang to Kinarut and Kota Kinabalu. The residents say they are stranded with no
00:31alternative routes after the collapse, raising concerns about evacuation, food supplies and
00:37medical access. An official representing Papar MP Datuk Armizan Muhammad Ali said the MP will
00:44return to Kota Kinabalu to discuss the repair work and solution for the people.
