00:45when they espouse their certainties.

00:48It never does, but it should.

00:54But the deeper problem with arguing for the truth

00:58is that the evidence for our religions

01:02is either non-existent or terrible.

01:07And this subsumes all claims

01:09about the existence of a personal God,

01:11the divine origin of certain books,

01:13the virgin birth of certain people,

01:16the veracity of ancient miracles.
