00:00A man once came to Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and he said,

00:04Ya Rasulullah, there is this woman who prays day and night.

00:09She does tahajjud, she reads Quran, prays her daily salah, gives zakah.

00:15She does all of these good things.

00:17But then the man said that even though this woman does all of these good things,

00:22she harms her neighbors with her tongue.

00:27And then the messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that this woman is among the people of Jahannam

00:38because of misusing her tongue.

00:41Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says in the Quran, in Shuraqaf,

00:45There is not a word that you say except that it will be recorded.

00:55Imagine your entire life.

00:59Your entire life, every single word you say is going to be recorded by the angels,

01:07which will either go on your left or right shoulder.

01:11And this is why misusing the tongue is a very dangerous act.

01:16We all need to be careful for.
