00:00Oh, I'm wearing Renz Reyes, who is one of our awardees for the BFFD 2025 Best Filipino Fashion
00:13Designers. And so yeah, this is this is very his style. I remember like he said something in one
00:22of his interviews that what makes a design Filipino is obviously it has to be made by
00:27a Filipino designer. That in itself speaks a lot about the craftsmanship, the work that
00:32goes into an outfit. So yes, I'm very happy with the final look. And it's a very well
00:39deserved BFFD award for him. Well, the most obvious is definitely what I'm wearing. So
00:46you know, when you say barong, that's one of our national fashion statements. And to be
00:52able to turn it into something so much more feminine, of course, using Latina fabric, that's
00:56also an amazing thing. Actually, parang I think for tonight, parang the best way to celebrate
01:02the homegrown theme of the event is to ask my favorite tailor to create a look for me. Parang
01:09I think nothing best celebrates homegrown talent and celebrating the skilled hands of our artisans.
01:14Of course. So this is what we came up with. It's a collaboration. Since I work with my tailor
01:19all the time, I just tell her my vision and then...
01:23Wow. In fairness.
01:25Well, my Bible.
01:27Well, it's not a Bible. It's a bag.
01:32Ah, nice. I love it.
01:34So yes. And the fact that everything you see here, I made myself.
01:39Oh, nice.
01:40Well, except the shoes.
01:41I'm wearing Mara Chua, by the way. She's a trans fashion designer. And what's a Filipino
01:49about this? Well, it's a sala gin to. And then actually, nasuot ko na to sa Asian Academy
01:55Creative Awards two years ago when we were actually nominated for the award. So ayun, yun ang pinaka-Filipino
02:05about this. This gown has actually been represented abroad. And it's a homegrown Filipino show.
02:11Amen.
02:13Yes.
02:14Right.
02:15Thanks so much.
02:15Yes.
02:16No, me so much.
02:17That's where we owe you.
02:28Thanks so much for all the things you want.
