00:00Hello, hi, welcome, welcome back. Now this is just a little bit more video about the
00:05cube. When I showed you the cube, what I meant to tell you at the end of the video, I forgot.
00:11When you put it over, let's suppose that you export it, let's suppose that you get it out,
00:18bring it back in, so you go here, go here, go to download, you click on it and bring it in.
00:24No problem with doing it, it's already there. When you bring it in, click on the
00:29glass. If for any reason you can't see through it, go in this mode, if you can't see through the glass,
00:37when you click the glass, just click on the glass itself. If you can't see the texture, just go here.
00:43Just look at this part, make sure you set this to 0.1. Once you've done that, just scroll down,
00:52when you go to settings, this is what I didn't tell you in your part, when you change this to blend,
00:59and you set the open map on it. Now it doesn't matter, it doesn't make a difference. If you want
01:04the ball to cast a shadow on the glass, tick the box. If you put the ball in there, like that,
01:14so as I said, if the ball's in there with that look, it will cast a shadow on the glass on here,
01:19and on the floor. If you turn it off, it won't cast the shadow, just to let you know that. As I said,
01:26I forgot to mention that in the last video. Well, anyway, yeah, so that's what that is,
01:32just in case you're wondering what that is, just go here and make sure this one is set to 0.1.
01:38And then, of course, you're all ready. Okay, let's suppose now you're brought in the game world,
01:44and you want to stick all the things together. Okay, this is the main, the main shell, it's outside,
01:50this is the glass, and this is the ball. Select these two, just, just, left click, hold and drag it,
01:56if you want to, or you can hold control, right side of the keyboard, and select that, select that,
02:02hold control, and select that. Don't go to apply settings, you can do that, actually let's just do that.
02:12Go here, apply all transforms first, go back to it, come down here, parent, parent the objects,
02:20all of the objects now jump inside the cube. So it's a cube sphere, or it's a cube sphere glass
02:32cabinet, so it's up to you, whatever, however you want to call it. So that's what I'll probably be
02:36called in the video, so I'll be calling it cube sphere cabinet. Okay, just so you know that,
02:43so I'm going to turn it to the side, we're going to do a little bit of animation, just so you understand
02:48how to do it. Click here, hold it, drag it, all you want to do is click on the box, or if you want to
02:54animate the box, or you can animate the glass, or you can animate all of it if you want to zoom into it.
03:00Now let's suppose we want an animation on the ball inside the glass, to start with. Okay, so what we
03:08can do, we can click on the actual cube, if we want to do it like this, we can. Let's do the cube,
03:14and we'll do the ball in a moment. Okay, so first of all, select the whole thing, right click,
03:20down your menu, and go here, insert, insert the visual location and rotation, and say yeah,
03:28that's how easy it is to set your animation. Really, is that it? Yeah, that's it. Okay, now click here,
03:34because all of this will move together, let's go to 60 seconds, and we're going to go here,
03:44and we're going to rotate the box,
03:49like this, to just, just kind of roughly, and then we're going to move it back up to the surface.
03:55Okay, I'm going to right click, and we're going to go, insert, now if we just go back and play that,
04:04it looks like this, I'll see it's too high, so I'll think, okay, so let's take the box,
04:11and let's put it back down to where it's supposed to be.
04:16Now let's play it, now of course, you see the frame is up there, it starts off here,
04:21come back to the frame, don't worry about that, just go here, just go delete, okay, look, there's no frame on it,
04:28okay, now, as I said, because it's here, just want to rotate it,
04:36click back on that, as I said, sometimes it messes around, and obviously you just got to
04:42work with it, so I'm going to do that, and I'm going to click this, and I'm going to move back up to the
04:48service, I'm going to right click, and I'm going to insert location, now all you should do is roll,
04:54like that, look, of course, as it rolls, that's how you want it to roll, like that, that's how I want it
05:02to roll, temporarily, so as I said, it will kind of make up that kind of common sense itself,
05:09when you go here, you'll notice, see the back of the box here, watch where it starts off, it starts off here,
05:18so this, you're thinking, okay, move this to here, that way it looks like the box has moved,
05:26don't forget to insert the frame, so you go back, and now it rolls forward, of course you don't want
05:33to go down for the floor, so I'm thinking, when you get to about here, so look at where it goes for the
05:39floor, which is there, so less so to about 30, and we'll take it out of the floor, and we'll insert a
05:48keyframe right there, so we'll go back here, and now roll it, and now that corner fixes that little
05:57minute error, of course, it leaves the floor just there, so we can put it back on the floor,
06:03it's one, two, four, we're going to get away with that, so okay, now all you have to do is keep
06:08copy and pasting, copy and pasting, copy and pasting, so copy and paste them, you select all of them,
06:12right click, copy, you want to go again, wherever you want to put it, so go up, let's say here,
06:21right click and paste it, now we can go back and play, of course, he's just going to do that, because
06:28it's the same animation backwards and forwards, okay, we don't want that there, you can select all
06:36of them, right click and go delete all the frames, as I'm just showing you the basics of animations,
06:43as I say, you can make this do whatever it is you want it to do, so as I say, once it rolls forward,
06:49so pretend now the character comes along, I'll show you that, let's go back, now of course,
06:55depending on whatever it is you want to animate, so we're animating the cube, if you want to animate
07:00the ball at the same time, does the ball move when the box moves, here, the ball probably would move
07:08when the box moves, well, as I say, it's up to you, if you want to animate the ball as well, you can, so
07:14the ball starts off here, so because it's hovering in thin air, we go to here, then again, it could be
07:22the ball, that's controlling the whole thing, anyway, so as I say, to make it look a bit more
07:28half decent, normal, what you'd want to do is bring in your character, I'm not going to animate the
07:34character, I'm just going to show you your jewelry, so we're going to go to downloads, we're going to go to
07:39Emma's World, and we'll find Emma H1, bring her in, and as you can see, Emma's absolutely tiny, Emma,
07:48I need you bigger girl, okay, so first of all, look at your character, now this is her banana,
07:56it's a Microsoft banana, if you haven't watched a video about banana, yeah, come watch it, yeah,
08:03it's pretty good, now, okay, take my character, and I'm going to put an absolute box,
08:10I'm going to stick her there for a moment, so Emma comes along, now if I animate Emma, lifting her arms up,
08:17Emma can push the box, of course, it's going in the opposite direction, I think,
08:24let's see where it's going, okay, it's going in that direction, so okay, let's turn Emma around,
08:31and let's stick Emma behind the box, so Emma's actually pushing the box, because she's really,
08:38really, really, really strong, even though she's not, but in this part of the clip, we're going to
08:43pretend that she's really strong, but we'll go in here, and just go to the regional location,
08:49that way, Emma starts there, so I think, okay, as I said, we can raise our hands up if we want to,
08:55of course, now, you'll animate everything, you'll animate, as I said, that might be the box,
08:59that might be the character, that doesn't matter what it is, as I said, you'll click on your character,
09:03as I said, it'll all get too complicated on you, now it's up to you, how you want to do your skeletons,
09:08you'll go here, show you the skeleton, if you go over here, you can turn on this one,
09:16and then you go to the pose, turn the skeleton on, and then you can see the skeleton, so it's up to
09:21you, if it's in a wireframe or that look, you can't see, come back out of it, turn off that,
09:28so you can see what you're doing, over here, show the skeleton, and show the skeleton, okay,
09:34so this is Emma, and this is her skeleton, so I think in here, it's great, can we move her,
09:40so these are her bones, what they look, so as I said, what I can do, of course, you'd want to do
09:46this, but absolutely perfect, so you'll want to move forward, as soon as the box, you see,
09:51you see the box is moving on this, of course, now, at this point, you'd move the character,
09:57at the same time, the box is moving, so I'll go here, and I'll raise Emma's hand, like this,
10:06of course, Emma's a little bit too small for that box, but you kind of get the idea, so Emma
10:12raises her hand, and the box moves, so I can go here, and I can just basically insert that,
10:18I know I can do a better animation than that, but I'm just giving you the idea, if you can do that,
10:24obviously turn around, you can do both the arms at the same time, you don't have to walk on one,
10:28I'll just do it this way, because, yeah, I'm going to show you how to do it separately,
10:34so I'll show you here, and you can go here, so I'm going to put the two arms like this,
10:39I don't want to insert, I'm going to say, yeah, so as I go back, look,
10:46you see her hands are actually on the box, of course, that's exactly how I want it,
10:50but maybe I don't want to do that, so what I would do here, now I'm going to show you how to move both
10:57arms at the same time, if you hold the upper key, the side of the keyboard, click that, and click that,
11:03now it's about two arms, two legs, it doesn't matter, whatever it is, it could be an arm and a leg,
11:08it could be a finger and a foot, it doesn't matter, okay, now what you want to do is put these back
11:14down by the other side, right click and go insert visual location, okay, now watch, when I move
11:21character, when I move the character, she throws the box, I think Emma, don't break the box girl,
11:28it's made of glass, you know that, and she should know that, because she's not wearing any shoes,
11:34I think Emma, don't smash that box, yeah, well she's not going to smash the box, of course,
11:40what you would do is now at this point, you would actually animate the box, so the box flies over
11:46there, and of course now you're going to kick the character, of course, once the box lands over
11:51there, you'd want to animate to her hands again, because you wouldn't want her hands stuck in the
11:55air like that, so after the box flies through the air, back to my character, so we want to click on
12:04the character, it will make sure you're actually on her, okay, you want to kick back on her shoulders,
12:11one there, hold the other key, and take that one, and then we can go back here, now I don't have to do
12:17this, I can copy the first frame, from here, because her hands are by her side, I can just click there,
12:24I can copy that, from here, and I can paste it, okay, so the box will come back, so Emma's going to throw
12:33the box, and Emma is so strong, and then she lands there, she puts her arms down, and now she starts to walk
12:40towards the box, yeah, now when it comes to the walking animation, I'm not going to tell you it's easy,
12:47I'm not going to tell you it's hard, because it's not, but I'm going to show you the principle behind it,
12:52okay, now it will take you a while to get the hang of it, well, yeah, you will get the hang of it,
12:57okay, so take the whole entire character, take off the character, okay, now go here, I'm going to tell you
13:03to select the whole character, right click, insert the visual location, go here, now she wants to move
13:13really about 10 squares, so ideally, so if you zoom out and look at the squares, you want to move her about
13:20five squares, I know I told you 10 squares, but you see the squares, it's made of a 10, it's made
13:27of a 10 by 10, so you want to move her five, so somewhere into the center of that, and insert location,
13:38of course, you would animate her legs as well, but I move my character first,
13:44so I, so don't do that one, go back, and then move it forward to the next line, right click,
13:54insert the visual location, and keep doing that until Emma gets to the box, don't forget, five squares,
14:02approximately there, and if you move the character first, and it's still there, just ignore it, just move
14:08that, and then drag Emma back to the box, insert, yeah, and then of course, we want to move it again,
14:17and we want a sticker right next to the box, insert, and say, yeah, now we've got 140 frames, if you go here,
14:26say, 140 frames, now of course, don't forget, she's not going to walk, she's going to slide across the
14:38floor, as if like, you know when you take the character, you bring it over to the game engine,
14:43in a real engine, hanging engine, and you just stick the character in there, and you go to walk around,
14:49you don't walk around, you, when you first put the character in, you slide across the floor,
14:54this is going to do exactly the same thing, I'll show you, as I said, I can animate to walk in later,
15:00so if you throw the box, the box goes over there, and then she walks towards the box,
15:05oh, that's pretty great, as Emma, don't break that box, girl, okay, so as you can see, it's very plain,
15:14very simple, and Emma walks the box, of course, we can animate the hips, and the legs, and the arms,
15:20and their head, and so forth, to make it, you know, and of course, we can zoom into the character,
15:25if we want to, if we want to do this, of course, she's trying to get the big maddy blue ball,
15:31out of the glass cabinet, thinking, oh yeah, Emma, you're not going to get that out of there, girl,
15:37as I said, we can have a speaking at this moment, we can click on the jawbone, and have a speaking,
15:41saying, how do I get the ball out of the cupboard, yeah, first of all, I recommend that you go get
15:47some shoes, at least, as I said, we can have a do, whatever you want to do, so anyway, this is Emma,
15:53and the blue ball, and I really hope that you like the content, and I hope you like the way I'm showing you,
15:59anyway, that's all I'm going to show you on this part, so if you want to learn something new,
16:05watch, look up your videos, and you'll learn something new, so as I said, if you want to learn how to make the
16:09cube, watch the first video, if you want to learn how to make it into glass, again, watch the first video,
16:16if you want to learn a little bit about animating the glass cube with the blue ball, yeah, then watch
16:22this video, anyway, stay safe from me, from Emma, and Emma, I want to say thank you very much,
16:26I think you've done great today, and don't forget to subscribe, the choice is yours, and I want to keep it that way,
16:34stay safe, bye.
