00:00I
01:00I'm trying to get the guitar in, man.
01:16You know, there's still a bit of bosom.
01:32I'm trying to get the guitar in, man.
02:01I'm trying to get the guitar in, man.
02:10It sounds nice.
02:12The heartwood had it, buzzing everywhere.
02:18And the original heartwood, I'm not going to get into it, but the original heartwoods aren't the same as the new heartwoods.
02:34They changed the design during the COVID.
02:39They made everything cheaper and thinner.
02:41So I could now, I had to stop recommending the heartwood to people because it's not the same guitar as the original batch like what I had.
02:47The black one and I had a red one as well, which I would have never sold if I had no other.
02:51I've got to change the, you know, just completely make it thinner and just wreck it.
02:58So the heartwood that I've been using is not the heartwood you buy now.
03:02And I wouldn't recognize, wouldn't recommend them at all.
03:04In fact, you know, I wouldn't even recommend.
03:06I'm not going there.
03:08I'm not going there.
03:09So that's that, like, you know, and, you know, the De Angelico, fantastic, you know, nobody feels quality.
03:20It's a nice sound, but, you know, these are, you know, 650 new.
03:24I got this for 400.
03:26Nearly new.
03:30Still a bit of buzzing, but not in the, not in places where it matters.
03:35But I have a plan.
03:37I can just stick a little bit on anything up there just to, because it looks a bit low that leg.
03:42I think I could come up a smidge.
03:44Just a few little bits, but apart from that, I mean, I was looking at a video.
03:50The guy, I can't remember his name, but he was, he was reviewing Gibson Casinos that had come up, come out.
03:58He had two and a half thousand quid and he pulled it to bits and, you know, he pulls it to bits and he has a look around everywhere.
04:04When he took the guard off, the paint was, it was, like, marked and there's a scratch on here where they'd, like, obviously, when they're putting the machine heads in, they've caught it.
04:14And he didn't seem bothered about that, like, but, like, for two and a half thousand quid, he'd want it immaculate.
04:18This has got a couple of little glitches on, like, a couple of little paint glitches, but, you know, these were 650 new and I'm getting this for 400.
04:25You know, so, I mean, this is a, you know, Heartwood, for example, you know, it's 200 quid for the, for these crop, second version Heartwoods that I would never recommend.
04:39This was nearly new and it basically is a new guitar from Guitar Guitar.
04:44And, um, it's, it's only a couple of hundred quid more, so, you know, I mean, I would say, I'll see how this goes with this thing.
04:54I think it feels a quality guitar, it's just, I think it's going to be up to it, like, you know, I mean, I wouldn't mind in the future getting myself, um, you know, grading to, like, one of the 800 quid ones.
05:08Because that's all you need to spend, like, if you know what you, you know, if you know what you want, I mean, even, you know, I swore I would never spend 500 quid over a, over a guitar.
05:22And I have in the past, but not much more, because, you know, but then, when the first Heartwoods came out, those were a steal.
05:30But, like, the second Heartwoods, which I've got, got a couple backups, like, but they just, they just, like, never pay them, they just back, they were just backups from the other Heartwood.
05:38Um, and now, one of them will be a backup for this, until I get another one of these, and then this will be the backup for that, probably.
05:46But, um, so the upgraded one's got the Grover pickups on.
05:54These haven't, and they're a bit, sort of, you know, a bit twitchy, like, you know, so I would have to put some lock and tuners on, you know, um, apart from that, though, it's a lovely guitar.
06:08You know, and, you know, it's, the black ones always sound better.
06:15So, you know, it's just.
06:18So, you know, it's just a little bit of a little bit.
06:50So you're kind of going around with the semi-acoustic 3-3-5-6 because these are like, you know, they play every style and I play a lot of styles of music. You know, I got my first 3-3-5 was my Ibanez.
07:11And I was 20 years old, I got that from my Band of Shapes, Sheridan, you know. No, sorry, it was Epiphone, Epiphone, Sheridan.
07:26But, you know, that was before You Know Who started making them. It was a Korean, it was a great guitar. And, of course, I got another one about five years ago and I sent it back because it was, you know, it was made by You Know Who.
07:40And it was just a shocker, you know. Just the neck was made of jelly, you know. If you've got one, I would recommend getting the De Angelico instead.
07:50You know, it was made of jelly, you know.
08:20You know, it was made of jelly.
08:50I'll lift that up, but I'll show it later.
09:20I'll show it later.
09:50I'll show it later.
10:20I'll show it later.
