Google Axes 6 Structured Data Types from Search Console — Are Your Rich Results Gone?

Heads up from GO LEAD DIGITAL — Google is removing Search Console reporting for six structured data types, including Course Info, Claim Review, Estimated Salary, Learning Video, Special Announcement, and Vehicle Listing.

Starting September 9, 2025, these will be stripped from Rich Results Test, Search appearance filters, and Search Console’s rich result reporting.

Rankings aren’t directly affected — but your dashboards and visibility will be.

🔍 Highlights:

> Search Console and Rich Results Test stop reporting on deprecated structured data types.
> Rankings are unaffected; you can keep the markup, it just won’t show rich results.
> API returns continue through December.

🔧 GO LEAD DIGITAL tip: Don’t remove the markup just yet — keep it valid, but adjust expectations and analytics as these changes roll out.

00:00Google Structured Data Cleanup, Six Types No Longer Reported
00:03Hey everyone, ever heard of structured data?
00:07It's like a secret code you can add to your website to help search engines understand your content better.
00:12Now, you might have noticed some of the reports for this data have disappeared from your analytics.
00:17Don't worry, it's not a bug.
00:19Google is just cleaning up.
00:21They've decided to stop showing reports for a few specific types of structured data
00:25to make their reports cleaner and more focused on what really matters.
00:28The six types that are no longer being reported on are
00:31Course Info, Claim Review, Estimated Salary, UCSI, Learning Video, Special Announcement, and Vehicle Listing.
00:39But here's the good news.
00:40This doesn't mean your website will get a penalty or that you should remove the code.
00:45Google says they will still use the data for ranking and indexing.
00:48You just won't see a specific report for it anymore.
00:51The takeaway?
00:52Keep focusing on creating great content and using the structured data that's most important for your business.
00:58This change is all about Google's tools, not your website's performance.
