00:23This is our main event and it is for the NXT Championship.
00:28And certainly, Corey Graves has an amazing opportunity, William Regal,
00:32to leave here tonight as the number one man in NXT.
00:37The most important night of Corey Graves' career.
00:39In fact, the most important night of Corey Graves' life.
00:43We know Graves has had an issue with Seth Rollins.
00:48We have seen that here on NXT.
00:51Graves, a very controversial, complex young man from the Pittsburgh,
00:55Pennsylvania area. He says that every tattoo on his body has intense significance.
01:03Tells the story of his life.
01:07His look intrigues me as that 68 boot boy look about him, which is intimidating.
01:14Seth Rollins, the first ever NXT Champion.
01:18Now a full-fledged member of the Shield.
01:23One of the most destructive, controversial, yet talented entities to appear in WWE in years.
01:33How this broadcast started was somewhat appalling in the eyes of many.
01:43I would be among that.
01:46The three-on-two, three-on-one attacks that we have seen from the Shield have become somewhat distasteful.
01:55And this one fall matchup is one-on-one, and it is for the NXT title.
02:04What's interesting about the Shield is, though, that they can justify to themselves
02:08every action that they're making.
02:10And that makes for a very dangerous trio of men.
02:13Introducing first, the challenger, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, weighing 208 pounds, Corey Graves.
02:26And his opponent, from Davenport, Iowa, weighing 210 pounds, he is the NXT Champion,
02:42and now, Shield member, Seth Rollins.
02:49And I wonder, William Regal, what's more important to Seth Rollins, being a member of the Shield,
02:54or being the first ever NXT Champion?
02:57Because one could assume that the recent agenda of the Shield has taken precedent
03:03over the individual accolade that Rollins earned by being the first NXT Champion.
03:09I think that that could be part of their agenda as well, though.
03:13We don't know yet, but surely it would be to protect Seth Rollins at all costs.
03:18In their minds, they think they're right.
03:20They have a champion in their midst.
03:22Surely they would want to make sure that champion remains one.
03:25We'll see how this match is starting out in a brawl-like fashion.
03:29A one-fall match of the NXT Title, our main event here.
03:32We are happy that you're with us here on NXT.
03:36And with all the multiple levels of agenda for the Shield, one could assume again that perhaps
03:46the Rollins inside cradle and the challenger with a near fall in the early going.
03:52Looking for a pinning predicament again in the backslide.
03:57But you have to wonder, where is the mental focus right now of Seth Rollins?
04:02That's the question that I certainly don't have any idea of the answer.
04:07Well, my point of view that Seth Rollins is a winner.
04:12The Shield all want to be winners in one form or another.
04:15They wouldn't be here in the WWE or in NXT without trying to be the best that they
04:20can be.
04:21It doesn't matter what way that we're looking at it, whether they're attacking
04:23people or not.
04:24They still want to be known and they want to be the best.
04:27And so I would think that he's right in the game at the moment.
04:31He wants to stay the NXT champion.
04:33We'll see as this match progresses, because certainly Corey Graves is not one that
04:38a champion, oh, hard knife, that's chocked by Rollins.
04:43And yet another finding his mark.
04:49Rollins showing great aggression, which isn't a surprise as Graves retaliates with
04:55hard-hitting offense of his own with a close line.
04:59I'm actually very surprised at the aggression that we're seeing from Seth Rollins,
05:03because we knew he had a great sportsmanlike conduct.
05:06And to see this side of him, it's quite a thrill for somebody like me who's
05:11spent most of his life being an aggressor in some form or another.
05:15We have seen an amazing metamorphosis of Seth Rollins once he joined forces with
05:21Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to form The Shield.
05:25They have made as much impact in WWE in a short amount of time as anyone that I can
05:32remember in all my years in WWE.
05:36As anybody.
05:37Period.
05:38Full stop.
05:39There is nobody has made as much impact as these gentlemen in such a short amount
05:43of time.
05:44Well placed high knee right to the sternum.
05:48Again another cover and again a near fall by the first ever NXT champion.
05:54There's no comparing The Shield to anybody either.
05:56You can't say they were like this group or that group.
05:59They're their own entities.
06:00And that's what I like about them.
06:01In this calendar year of 2013 I am celebrating my 20th year in WWE.
06:07In all those 20 years I've never seen a three man entity make the impact The Shield has made
06:14in a variety of ways.
06:16Look at this.
06:18Nice innovation by Corey Graves looking for a three count.
06:23What's really good about The Shield is there's not one weak link.
06:27Usually when you have groups there's always somebody that has to be carried.
06:30All three competitors that are part of The Shield are exceptional.
06:34And that's what makes them very dangerous.
06:36And as far as I'm concerned the one thing that they all have in common is they all have
06:40a bona fide pronounced mean streak.
06:43They have great aggression.
06:45They have no conscience when it comes to dishing out the pain.
06:48They are like a band of hyenas at times with their three on one, three on two.
06:55They're mismatches.
06:57The point I made before Jim which is astounding to me is that they think that they can justify
07:04every motive that they have.
07:05So that's what makes them exceptionally dangerous to anybody here.
07:10Nice leg less takedown by Corey Graves.
07:13Looking to become the NXT champion against the controversial Seth Rollins who just scored
07:20with the enziguri the head kick right to the temple.
07:23Rollins can beat an individual in a variety of ways.
07:27We have seen him win by submission.
07:29We have seen him win by knockout pinfall.
07:32Very highly skilled is the Iowa native who is now seemingly trying to build more momentum.
07:39But Graves goes down low into that.
07:42Rollins trying to get the circulation back in his leg.
07:46And now Graves looking for a submission.
07:49We could have a new NXT champion in a heartbeat.
07:53In a heartbeat.
07:55Rollins about to tap.
07:56Rollins about to, oh wait a minute.
07:58Ambrose and Reigns protecting Rollins.
08:03Rollins may have been seconds away from tapping out and losing the NXT title.
08:09But the shield making sure that did not happen.
08:14So again, we find ourselves in a distasteful three on one assault.
08:19A mugging.
08:21If this happened outside this arena, these three men would be jailed.
08:29And Rollins is still the champion.
08:32And there's our commissioner.
08:35The American Dream Dusty Rhodes calling on some, for some reinforcements.
08:41The locker room is ifing, but how, oh my God.
08:45How effective will they be?
08:49Bodies being beaten and thrown.
08:51The shield so far successfully fighting off essentially the entire NXT locker room.
09:04But will the odds now finally take over on the shield?
09:08Will we see the shield bend and break with the mismatched odds that we're seeing?
09:16And wait a minute.
09:29The shield overcoming this.
09:31I can't believe this.
09:32I don't know if anybody else has noticed this, but the shield, three men,
09:35have just wiped out nearly the entire NXT roster.
09:38Three men, three dangerous men with an agenda.
09:42A dangerous agenda.
09:45Have essentially eliminated the NXT locker room.
09:48Much to the chagrin of the commissioner, the American Dream Dusty Rhodes.
09:53Rollins still the NXT champion.
09:55And now the signature triple power bomb by the shield.
10:02Complete, utter destruction, domination.
10:09These men looking to control NXT as they have the WWE.
10:15And Bo Dallas was their final victim.
10:18What do you think if you're the American Dream Dusty Rhodes,
10:21and you're looking and you see three men have just wiped out your entire locker room?

10:27How do you keep these three men from Comandero?
10:30Big E Langston.
10:36Big E Langston will not be intimidated.
10:49Big E Langston is not afraid of one man, two men, three men, or ten men, including the shield.
10:57A slow, deliberate, intense walk toward the square circle.
11:05And now the shield has their opportunity to make their mark.
11:12Arguably the most powerful entity individually in NXT, Big E Langston.
11:19Oh, this should be most interesting.
11:22Big E is a one man gang himself.
11:28Big E steps in the ring.
11:31Look at the shield.
11:34Perhaps deciding that discretion on this night is the better part of valor.
11:41The shield destroyed essentially an entire locker room, but apparently not wanting any part of Big E Langston.
