00:01It was incredibly poignant, reading this final script,
00:04knowing that that's the end of a journey.
00:06It's hard to accept that it's time to go.
00:10There was a sense of coming together as a cast
00:12to give a great send-off for the characters.
00:14Very bittersweet.
00:16It's been 14 years, and we've grown up together.
00:19We are like family.
00:20We've all been there for each other,
00:22and it's really important to relish every second.
00:25You know, I've felt very conscious of that
00:28each day I've been at work
00:30is to just, you know, soak it all up.
00:32Who could have predicted that we'd be sitting here
00:35having done 52 episodes and two movies
00:37and now, you know, finishing a third?
00:39It's been quite remarkable.
00:45Knowing that this is the last one,
00:47I don't think I've got my head around it yet.
00:49It will probably be something that hits me in years to come.
00:53We all want it to be the best that it can be
00:56in a fitting way to say goodbye.
00:59We just love each other,
01:00and we love being in each other's company.
01:02Just feel incredibly grateful.
01:03We've had this journey,
01:04and people have appreciated what we've all done so much.
01:08It's extraordinary, really.
01:10I don't think I will ever say goodbye to Downton,
01:13but I don't feel like it is a goodbye.
01:19Mary will always be part of me,
01:21and the show, of course, will be,
01:23and we're such a family that,
01:25for us, it never really ends.
