00:00A rebel move is to be who you want to be.
00:03Like, what is beauty?
00:03Beauty is subjective.
00:05And we don't have to look like the covers of magazines.
00:07We don't have to do the industry standard,
00:10which everybody was so horrified when I decided I didn't need a glam team for certain events.
00:16You know, I'd rather go look at architecture at the museum when I was in Paris.
00:19I thought, you know, who's looking at me?
00:21I'm clothed from head to toe with these big hats.
00:24And, you know, this much of my face is sticking out.
00:26Is anyone going to really fall over backwards if I'm not wearing makeup?
00:29and that's where it started at Paris Fashion Week
00:31and it just sent everybody
00:33scrambling around me thinking
00:34no this is not what people do
00:36and I said well that even gives me more reason to do it
00:39and not that it was
00:41world peace or anything
00:42but it was just me
00:44challenging myself
00:46thinking why am I sitting in a makeup chair
00:48for three hours when
00:49no one's looking at me
00:51and even if they were
00:53why am I doing this
00:55because this just seems like a habit
00:57and not that I'm opposed to makeup
00:59because I love getting dressed up
01:01and glammed up
01:03and I just felt like it was time to
01:05I had nothing to lose
01:07and I felt I'm not trying to create
01:10a persona right now
01:11I'm not trying to be famous
01:13I need to use my position to
01:16experiment and open up conversations
