00:00Rob Ron's storyline reaches a tense climax in this week's Emmerdale, Sharon Marshall has been behind the scenes.
00:09Well after all the drama in the Dales, I thought they'd just come for a nice quiet and country walk to get away from it all.
00:17What now? No awards for my acting, but it's Psycho Sutton, and we're getting to see him up close in all his nasty glory
00:27as we film behind the scenes of the latest saga in this relationship.
00:32This has got quite big and quite dramatic, hasn't it?
00:34It's got drama written all over it.
00:35I'm the bad guy.
00:38In case you've been in a ditch, here's a little refresh of what's happened so far.
00:43Bad man John has been drugging hapless husband Aaron to stop him running back into the arms of ex-lover Robert.
00:50You had a seizure?
00:51He's been pretty smug about it too.
00:53You were going to spend the rest of what is left of your pathetic, lonely life knowing that you lost.
01:00I never thought he'd be this naive, because me and Ollie was amazing by the way.
01:06He's filming a lot of stuff where he's just constantly pulling the wool over Aaron's eyes and it's just an Aaron's group.
01:11Okay.
01:12Robert has been trying to tell him that John Sutton's wrong him for how many months now?
01:16Probably about two months, but no one listens. No one listens to Robert.
01:19Well, in tonight's episode, the penny finally drops for Aaron and he runs away.
01:24He's worked it out, so he's trying to get back to the village, but he doesn't want John to know he's figuring it out.
01:28So, yeah, there's no talking out of it once he realises what's happened and then it's just about finding out who John really is.
01:34And then it's a case of, should he get into the police station and put him down for the rest of his life, Sharon?
01:40Or should we bring him to the Antipode Cliff?
01:43Which sounds so much more interesting. Let's be your way.
01:45Oh, but they're not alone. There's a spanner in the works. Robert turns up.
01:50It's Sutton versus Sutton. Possessive John's not giving up. He calls the police.
01:56Oh, please. I need the police running out.
01:58And frames Robert for his crimes.
02:01So no matter what happens today, you're going to be to blame. Everything's being pinned on you.
02:05It's been offensive.
02:05So, yeah, there's a lot. Everything's getting blamed on Robert at the moment and no one believes him.
02:11And, yeah, so it's not great for Robert, really. Maybe Robert might leave. Maybe.
02:16How can you blame this lovely face?
02:20He knows this is his endgame playing out by now.
02:23And he knows if he goes over on his own, these two reconcile and live the life that he wants.
02:28So the last thing he would want is for his brother to have the life that he thinks he's deserved.
02:34So spiteful John knows the game is up and he leaps into the gorge with his arms around Aaron.
02:40John and Aaron are going to be falling over there. Will they survive? Will they not? You don't know.
02:44You can confirm you are one of the people going over there.
02:47Yeah, I think it's more about which one survives, if any.
02:50That's a good teaser.
02:51In a weird way, he thinks he's helping Aaron. Trying to save him. Saving him from Robert.
02:56He probably thinks it's quite romantic, right?
02:58Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. The end of the film. Kind of.
03:02Oh. Next time, just send flowers now.
03:04Yeah, I'll just drive off into the sunset.
03:06You'll have to wait until tonight's show to see that fateful moment and how it plays out.
03:12But what was it like to film it?
03:14You've done all your own stunts then?
03:15Yeah, I did do my own stunts.
03:17I'd say they're fantastic at managing to conjure up some insurance.
03:20And they said, Danny, if you want to do it.
03:21And, yeah, who might have let them know?
03:22Ha! Nice try, Danny!
03:24You saw them filming? Were they brave? Were they good? Did they do their own stunts?
03:27Aaron and, what, Danny and Ollie?
03:29Yeah. Yeah.
03:30Yeah.
03:31They can't hear me coming? No, they didn't do their own stunts.
03:33Oh!
03:34We did offer our services, but they took a look at us and went, I don't think you're qualified for that.
03:38So these amazing guys came in, and I watched the take yesterday.
03:42I watched it live, and it was absolutely terrifying.
03:45But they just kind of walked back around and go, are we going again?
03:47Okay, no problem. Got their harnesses on and everything.
03:50It was spectacular.
03:50Well, on camera, there might not be a lot of love between these three, but off camera, there's nothing but niceties.
03:57We have been wanting to see John Subton, you know, reach, reach his, he needs his comeuppance.
04:04Of course he does.
04:05Which is really strange, because we've got Oliver Farmer, who is one of the nicest men I've ever met in my life,
04:10and I don't say that lightly, and he is, without doubt, the most professional man I've ever worked with.
04:15Ryan, I'd be pleased to hear you say this.
04:17Ryan didn't spell professional.
04:18It's been an absolute rollercoaster, just working literally with the best people I've ever worked with.
04:24Darren Miller, obviously, working side by side with him every day is just an adventure.
04:29Absolutely brilliant.
04:30When one storyline, or a kind of period of that storyline, kind of comes to an end,
04:35it kicks off the new one, and then, yeah, where we're going towards the Coronation Street in Emberdale crossover is going to be there.
04:40I was going to ask you about that, so January, there's going to be a, now that is like the Avengers,
04:45that is the, and all the forces coming together.
04:48Yeah, that's exactly it.
04:50Are you going to be involved in that?
04:51I, I don't know, and if I did, I wouldn't tell you.
04:54Ah, that's for us to look forward to for next year.
04:57And now, though, there's a more pressing issue of this Royal Brom Love Triangle.
05:01So what is going to happen?
05:03We're going to have to tune in and find out, because they have left us, literally, on a flip-blender.
05:10It's a bit of a stick that goes out of the way.
05:12She gets everywhere, doesn't she?
05:13She does.
05:14Access all areas, marsh all.
05:16We need to, we need to get some detail from her on that as well.
05:19I need to know what's going on.
05:21Right, copies of time now.
