Fleetwood 'touched' by sporting reaction to Tour Championship win

Tommy Fleetwood reveals that Tiger Woods and LeBron James were among the sporting stars to congratulate him.

00:05i'd finished you're in such a bubble obviously when you're playing and um it's very focused on

00:11the day and and as like i did the uh two or three hours of like commitments afterwards like a lot

00:18of people mentioned you know tiger woods has tweeted uh lebron james caitlin clark and quite

00:22a lot of like um in the sporting world and i think um i so like throughout it all i think

00:29that story built up quite a lot and i think throughout it all i always just tried to like

00:35you know i said at the time i always tried to say the right things to myself and the right things

00:38outwardly and i tried to have the best attitude possible and be the best example and um i probably

00:45uh underestimated like at the time how much people appreciated it or how or how well thought of it

00:51was um yeah i was i was just really touched by what a um a popular sort of journey and story that it

00:59that it had become because you you kind of get lost in your own bubble a little bit you know

01:02every week every week i got close to the finish line and i was i was i was right there but then

01:07you know it didn't quite happen and then for me it was like um it was a build on the positives reset

01:13from the the negatives that didn't happen learn from it go again and and i was very open about it
