Justin Rose believes there is never a perfect time to be a Ryder Cup captain, and feels his time is looming.

00:00Yeah, for sure. I guess the question does get asked and I do start to think about it.
00:05And I'm not sure there's ever a perfect time to be a Ryder Cup captain because, one, it's a little bit too early for you
00:10and you sacrifice your own golf unless, you know, Keegan, you can do it like Keegan.
00:15And then if you leave it too late, you feel like you're hanging around, you know,
00:19you're travelling more than you want to be at that point of your career.
00:22So I don't think there's a perfect time to do it.
00:23So, yeah, should the question get asked, I'll obviously do my very best to consider it and make the right decision.
00:30But, yeah, at this point, I think it's exciting and I think, I don't know if it's wishful thinking,
00:37but I do believe I can kind of keep going as well.
00:40Yeah, so it's sort of, when you're in a Ryder Cup, two years doesn't seem that far away.
00:45You kind of still believe that you can keep it going to do another one.
00:48So lots to unpack there, I guess, but the point is Luke's done an amazing job
00:54and because I've paid more attention, I realise what a big job it is.
00:57So if you do say yes to it, you better be ready for it.
