00:00Have you ever been stuck?
00:07I spent a month on the floor, overwhelmed with stress.
00:12So when it finally went completely out and I was screaming on the floor in pain, I called Dr. Sarno.
00:18The pain is generated in us when we put ourselves under pressure to be perfect and good.
00:24I was so bad personally, during a radio show I had to lay down on the floor.
00:29It was such a great barometer of what was going on inside of me.
00:32What do you mean psychological? I feel it. You think I'm making this pain up in my arm?
00:36I must have spent 15 years of my life in this position.
00:40Your body's telling you take a break and let some other person be awesome for a little while.
00:47There's such a strong cultural mindset that the only legitimate way of treating disease is by giving drugs.
00:53You know, my dad was hit by a car and he was killed.
00:58Feelings, that's what we're talking about here.
01:01I've been creating pain so as not to deal with things.
01:05I had diarrhea for six months and it turns out I was just scared shitless.
01:09That is one angry foot.
01:11I was working four jobs.
01:13That was too much. It was too much.
01:16And that fury will evoke physical symptomatology as a defense against the rage.
01:24Rather than burning down the capital, they are turning that anger against themselves.
01:28Exactly.
01:29Why isn't this being looked at?
01:31They say enlightenment isn't in the attaining of truths, it's the removing of lies.
01:36I'm talking about life and death.
01:38And when I say we, I mean the human race.
01:45I believe in finding a way out of this, but it's going to be a long road.
01:52Many people say you saved my life.
01:54All of this because of one simple idea.
01:58The fact that the mind and the body are intimately connected.
02:04That's the whole story.
02:06This was fun being in your documentary.
